Relationships can be hard to go along with sometimes. Sometimes we need to step away from them, and sometimes we just need to drop them completely. This song is written in the perspective of someone who has to temporarily let go of their lover, and they're waiting for them to come back.

It details the days, weeks, soon to be eternities gone by.. and our storyteller has his doubts, albeit while carrying a heavy and sorrowful heart. He can't keep holding on, but he continues trying to anyway.
