So we have been working together the last few days to write our epic song for the new Periphery album.  Something that would be able to follow "Racecar".  We are so excited that we said screw it and we will share the instrumental version with you so you can hear it!  The song covers ground we have never touched before, and it is very thematic and goes through a lot of moods.  Hope you enjoy!

originally by Periphery. I remember the first time listening to this, hitting my chest and heart during the clean section and lead work after it. The guitar tone was phenomenal. after that I was chasing the tone, and seems I've succeeded.

[Periphery] Absolomb // Instrumental // Producer Pack

I've written and recorded this track on June of 2017 for my Production course at Berklee. After that I tried to gain some knowledge in mixing and mastering, also seeking for great tone in the genre. I was heavily influenced by Misha Mansoor back then. Then I met Tom Gent from Australia, very talented musician. He wrote the lyrics and recorded the vox. I mixed and mastered the song, created a cover for it and the outcome after lot of tweaking was satisfying and hopefully it will satisfy more ears than us. Cheers!

A Light Within (feat. Tom Gent)

My second composition in style of prog metal with Tom on vox. Recording this one was pretty fun cause all came to me in two sessions and recorded it with my 5150 and use the great GGD Matt Halpern for drums. Tried to produce this song like Nolly Getgood and Periphery and it turns out pretty Djenty! As an audio engineer I'm happy with the result and guitar works and vocals are brutal too. Hope ya'll enjoy \m/

Based in Tehran, having 1 LP and 3 EPs, Amir Poorhafezi seeking the catchiness of The Goo Goo Dolls and crushing syncopated rhythms of Periphery. Amir Poorhafezi works closely with the bandmate Tom Gent for songs with lyrics and writes Instrumental for solo projects. Amir has been with the band Dark Allegory since 2020 as a guitarist, lyricist, songwriter and mix engineer. Been around in music industry for more than 5 years, producing, songwriting and mix engineering from electronic to progressive metal.
