MYNY - Who´s That (AAARON)

Denmark boys Leman & Dieckmann from Kopenhagen, known for their releases on their own imprint Gartenhaus and Dantze Records, present their latest productions in form of this wonderful 3-track EP 'B-Stick' on With Compliments. First track 'B-Stick' is a shaky house groover with jungle drum action and filter synth power. The cocky synth sounds have a playful touch and the ongoing groove will drive you smoothly mad. The cheeky atmosphere creates an intense emotional state of mind. Advise: Please listen to it on a big club sound system. Aaaron took the drum attitude of the original and stripped it down to its bones. He added some individual spice and created a more
laid-back version of the original. We are still in the jungle, but on the other side of the rain forest. 'My Old Drum' closes the EP with a multilayer and hypnotic gem. The key attitude of the track is obvious right from the beginning and the noisy sounds will definitely show you the way to the dance floor. It's simply a homage to the deep and frantic old school house tunes.

We’re back for the second remix pack from Sharam’s 2016 album Retroactive.  For this installment, Sharam gave “Techi” to two very distinct Berlin-based producers, Reinier Zonneveld and Aaaron, who each delivered special remixes of the epic tune.

Techno wunderkind Reinier Zonneveld’s mix is full of the dark, intricate details that has propelled his recent success on labels like Suara and Stil Vor Talent.  It’s a driving remix that is streamlined for bangin’ sets and is sure to move a few bodies at Awakenings.

Aaaron dives into a deep and minimal mix that we’ve come to expect from the talented producer.  His second release on Yoshitoshi (following January’s Black Arp EP), it features an array of meticulously synthesized sounds suited for cerebral techno sets.

As with the Arpi remixes, Sharam has crafted a new VIP mix as well to revamp this track for his (and your!) sets.  Enjoy.

Norman Weber, half of Luna City Express explores an exotic and upbeat soundscape in his Deep Vision EP, with fellow German talent Mathias Kaden and newcomer Aaaron on remix duties.
A collaboration with vocalist Ken, Deep Vision brings together melodic fragments and lush vocals spiralling through ricocheting drums and dreamy synth echoes. Powerful, yet deeply harmonious, it creates an environment in which the groove moves fluidly, making it a perfect dancefloor weapon.
U.F.O. is a track that stays true to its name, with hypnotising whirlwind synths building up an alien-like groove. Backed by trippy, distorted vocals and gyrating loops, it showcases a quirkier side of the producer.
Aaron’s rework of Deep Vision is a deep, minimal slice, loaded with gradually escalating pads and traces of clangorous energy atop Ken’s initial vocal loops.
Veteran Mathias Kaden reimagines Deep Vision into a moody, mesmeric version for dark spaces. Equally compelling, it offers up a whole new world of textures and loose rhythms that aptly complement the
original.
