Soela, a multi-talented artist based in Berlin, has been on radar ever since she released a critically acclaimed LP “Genuine Silk” on our beloved Dial Records earlier this year. Album on Dial is just a cherry on the top that came after several successful releases on labels like Detroit Underground, FauxPas Music, and Kompakt, to name a few. 
When in the studio or behind the decks, Soela likes to explore all electronic music corners, ranging from downtempo to deep house to techno and beyond. The mix Soela made for us is a special one. Full of twist and turns, Soela takes us to a journey through Dub Techno, Electronica, Trip-Hop, Deep House, and Ambient. Very well executed, this mix is a phenomenal companion for your next car ride or downtime at home.

Makinist(https://soundcloud.com/user-153161389) is a french electronic musician, artist and PhD student. His doctoral thesis is focused on the uncanny in late capitalism. As a result, glitch, hauntology and uncertainty are recurring feelings in his sound. Alienation and transcendence seems to play a decisive part in this aesthetic. "What was a crucial sonic experience in your life?"
I was and I am still mesmerized by the particular silence of abandoned places. The city roar seems distant behind walls, letting space for other sounds. Nature, animals, wind, little flickering of sharp glass, or footseps have a new meaning in these places. It can be scary to hear someone coming in this context but this person could be a friend. It is places where capitalism  seems to rest, and new things can rise, like a new sonic ecosystem.
