As opposed to what you may expect from the music I put out this is firmly routed in the hardcore continuum. Expect 90s vibes, acid lines, breakbeats, sub bass, all that good stuff that never really goes out of fashion.

Paul Rimbaud spent nearly a decade performing along Spain's Costa Del Sol as Elvis²  where he would sing Elvis Costello songs in the style of Elvis Presley but finally hung up his blue suede shoes in the mid-2010s after succumbing to the same predilections as the king himself, namely pills and cheeseburgers. He cleaned himself up, got sober, and turned his attention to his first true love, the rave. Seven years back he started the label, Distant Worlds, focusing on spacey, dreamy techno informed by the golden 90s era and more recently has also expanded into IDM territory with The Imaginary Museum. He has released music from the likes of Cignol, The Jaffa Kid, John Shima, Derek Carr & Sound Synthesis amongst others. He has a regular slot on London's AAJA radio and very occasionally plays further afield under the name of 'Kabij'.

Starting her journey behind the booth in Birmingham via collective Selextorhood, now based in London, L Daze has been shelling out masterful recent sets for prestigious names such as Goddezz, Aquatic Formations, Whomp and Rhythm Section. Drawing inspiration from the 90's / early 00's trance and prog era, this talented selector combines old-school hypnotic sounds with the paced up state of modern dance floors. This hour long mix for us represents just a taste of the sheer class L Daze has when it comes to crafting absorbing story telling through tripped out grooves and mind melting sonic atmospheres. Here at WE FORFEIT, we are always on the hunt. Discounted bread, free wine, even the odd compliment, all are fair game and very much appreciated. When it comes to music, a certain furrowed brow of seriousness is employed. 
Through our shows, interviews and mixes, we’ve tried to present electronics with a difference, electornics that make a difference. To the snowy peaks of Canada with Solvent, to the dusty plains of Almería with Mynationshit, our objective is giving a greater audience to what is already great. This month is no exception.
Travelling even furhter, the furthest in fact, this month is dedicated to Featherstone. This Australian artist, a talent that has graced labels like Gated Recordings, Nebulae and his own Ernest’s Way. He has a full hour long mix that collects acid, braindance, electro and techno while giving you some of his own unreleased works. Fantastic stuff and thanks Ben.
Robbie is on warm-up and has some freshly baked releases alongside some golden classics.  You’ll have tracks from labels like 030303, D.Ko Records and Partout with musicians like Böhm, Reedale Rise and the incredible Ismistik featuring.
