The DEXT sessions are back for the first show of 2022 as always Haze takes the rains for the first hour with a mixture of House, UK Garage, Breakbeat, Techno  & Jungle featuring tracks from the likes of Interplanetary Criminal, Pugilist  & Tamen, Holloway, Dawn Razor & Tim Reaper. 
For the second hour we welcome old friend Milo Bragg (https://soundcloud.com/future-primitive-records), first meeting over 25 years ago through a mutual love of skateboarding and Rave music, Milo has always been renowned as a top-class House & Techno selector , when he is not putting in the hours at dance music institution Juno records as a label manager and record buyer he is running the label https://soundcloud.com/future-primitive-records and curating the excellent mix series “ Club Rooted “ not to mention the odd cheeky gig here and there,  this mix sees him draw selections from the likes of Al Wootton, Pessimist, Forest Drive West  & Mike Huckaby to name a few.

Welcome back to the Gated podcast. 
This month it's a great pleasure to usher in to the Gated lair, one of a kind, Paul Rimbaud. 
Following on from nearly a decade performing along Spain's Costa Del Sol as Elvis² (Elvis Costello songs sung in the style of Elvis Presley), Paul finally hung up his blue suede shoes after succumbing to the same predilections as the king himself, namely pills and cheeseburgers.

Cleaning up after a spell in the priory, he got himself sober, a lithium prescription and turned back to his one true love, the rave, turning his full attention to his own record label, Distant Worlds and, more recently, The Imaginary Museum. He holds down a monthly show on AAJA music and occasionally DJs out but very sparingly as he likes to get a good night's sleep these days. For Gated, Paul has provided us with the finest in 90s Techno oozing all over the proverbial carpet. While mopping that up, Node will have some Gated promos at the end.

Gated Podcast 40 // Paul Rimbaud // June 2022

'Dreaming Daisies' retrospective/tribute show recorded live on the Three D radio show 'Raw Like Sushi, hosted by Sam Walker and soundtracked by myself on 3rd August 2022. 
Dreaming Daises was an Adelaide late night radio show that ran from 1990-1999, hosted by Georgie Knight with her unique and ethereal tones..... The show essentially soundtracked and educated a generation of dance music lovers in Adelaide, with the positive influence still resonating today... 
This show, mixed and recorded live in the studio, captures the sound of the show and in particular the 92-94 time when the Dutch and Detroit sounds fused with the unique techno transmitted from Adelaide. Hopefully this show either stirs some memories or provides some insights for those unfamiliar with the show or the sounds of the time.... Enjoy :)
