Moody McIvor is a Darkwave/Synthwave act fronted by Christopher McIvor from the Gold Coast, Australia, with production support from Felipe Bortoloti (Nørus), originally from Brazil and now based in Portugal.

Formed in 2021, the project blends ethereal soundscapes with pulsating rhythms, weaving together electronic textures and organic depth for a sound that is both intimate and expansive.

The debut release on McIvor’s new sublabel Ronnie’s Records, Shadow Frequencies, is a deeply personal body of work developed over four years and dedicated to the memory of close friend Benaiah Fiu. Each track channels love, loss, and memory through haunting melodies, evocative vocals, and emotionally rich atmospheres.

We are excited to welcome Nikita to our label with his first EP in two years. To top it off, the release is elevated by a remix from Washington, DC–based producer Dommie, who takes a completely different approach. His rework feels like Livity Sound had grown up on the coast of Ibiza instead of the UK.

Finally, Cologne’s Panta Rex closes the EP with a hypnotic dub house track, a never-ending loop that feels like Basic Channel, but at the beach instead of in a Berlin basement.

The man, the myth, the legend and big influence to Blank Wave: Alessandro Parisi is an Italian electronic musician from Pordenone - also known as Hesperius Draco and involved in many projects such as Sacrestia del Santissimo Sangue and Dynamite Winter Palace, describes his musical style as “Esoteric Disco“. 

Influenced by baroque and romantic classical music, Mr. Parisi has created a blend of retro future and dark ritual electronix sound with references to past civilizations, spiritual harmonies and ancient sacred mysteries with a post-punk touch. Right on time for halloween comes guest mix no. 114!

A trio of hypnotic, shapeshifting grooves from Thomass Jackson that blur the lines between party and paranormal. Unpredictable yet always danceable.

Transcend into orbit with Uritorco Times. (Probably) an ode to Argentina’s most mystical peak, UFO synthesisers flash and bleep around a wonky bassline. The result is equal parts mystic ritual and late night mischief.

Sly yet crunchy Push Comes To Shove rides a killer bassline over off kilter percussion. Sleazy mechanical funk that teeters, entranced between tension and release.

Sonic Witchcraft ensues in Junk Be Gone as the shadowy yet playful bassline twists like smoke around the acid melody summoning rhythm from strangeness.

Junk Be Gone gets the Felix Dickinson treatment for the EP’s remix delivering an extra long rework that stays respectfully true to the original in all the right ways. Live acid bass envelops the original bassline whilst ever intensifying synth solos build to an Eastern flavoured crescendo.

Advancing into the EP we encounter the soul uplifting 'I Wish I Knew'. A bit reminiscent of summer and its glory days, this record is filled with synths, catchy vocals & that old school groove. Rounding off the EP we have 'Can't You See'. A proper mellow deep house cut. While the EP holds his basis within the deeper sounds, AZIZ brings multiple vibes & energy levels to the table. In the late 2000s Jaskin begun his Dj carrier representing heavyweight drumandbass sound in Vilnius. Chasing experience and variety of music moved to UK where spend 3rd of his life producing music and exploring the night life. Living in London started to release his music and collaborate with Uneven, they continued their musical journey in the city of Bristol. Influenced by early Electronica and Autonomic drumandbass sound started their Label "Squares Music" and event "Epified" to represent the sound of their own. Now Jaskin is back in Vilnius continuing producing and his cozy event representing Autonomic and Leftfield Drumandbass music.
