Chris Liebing is synonymous with techno. His legacy is long assured, but his craft never stops evolving. Whether as label head, podcast curator, DJ or producer, he continues to challenge himself and his audience to explore new realms in the electronic world. And often ahead of the curve, too, from the early, hard-edged and loopy 90s sound which is back en vogue today, through his more stripped-back turn of the millennium minimalism and onto the cinematic atmospheres and broader alternative electronica of his latest albums on Mute. It's no stretch to say, then, that Chris Liebing's story is closely connected to the story of techno itself. 

Liebing is considered a global techno ambassador, but his ambitious album projects and direct club tracks excite and innovate as much as any new school star. A proudly forward-thinking attitude ensures that is the case as his DJ tools and studio setup constantly evolve. He continues to be an early adopter of emerging technology, too, just as he was with vinyl controllers, Traktor and when leading the way with full hybrid/live DJing. 

These days, Liebing incorporates an ever wider sphere of sound into his own work. After an eight-year break from full lengths, 2018's Burn Slow on Mute was a creative rebirth that received critical acclaim and confounded all expectations. It was a melancholic mediation on gothic moods, looming apocalyptic landscapes and optimistic broken-beat techno that drew from his childhood love of Depeche Mode, Gary Numan and the New Romantic movement. 

Remixes for Depeche Mode and Goldfrapp followed alongside a collaborative single with Charlotte De Witte, and 2021 brought a second album on Mute, Another Day. It found Liebing exploring all new ways of expressing both his euphoric and melodic side, all with high-grade technical skill and meticulous sonic craft with a range of collaborators from Miles Cooper Seaton to Polly Scattergood. This exceptional form continued into 2023 as he returned to the club with his Love Those Who Fight With Passion And Faith EP on CLR, a passionate and politically charged call to the dance floor that joined Liebing and Luke Slater’s remix of Depeche Mode’s iconic ‘Ghosts Again’ in the first half of the year. 

Born in Giessen and active ever since the 1990s, Liebing has always platformed the talent around him as much as himself: a long time before they were commonplace, he famously helmed his own CLR podcast. For many years, it was the scene's most influential series, with a who's who of international pioneers at the helm. After that came the equally important AM/FM radio show, but now following a hiatus, the CLR podcast is back and pushing a fresh techno agenda, as is his iconic label of the same name.

In its first chapter, CLR stood for Chris Liebing Records, then Create Learn Realize, and now Create Learn Repeat - a subtle evolution that is at the heart of everything Liebing does. The label will always be synonymous with exciting techno and is now back hosting parties and festival stages. 

Though his music is underpinned by pulsating menace and a stomping sense of drama, Liebing himself is friendly with a famous smile. It is the music that motivates him and the freedom that comes with increased experience. These days there are no limits, no expectations, but a continued love for the art and craft of techno that is taking him down all new creative pathways.

Bringing his African ethnic roots together with his good Italian taste, Tamango Records boss Yaya is one of the hottest names in the electronic music scene. Yaya grew up in Turin, where the tunes of his father - percussionist and leading voice of the “M’bamina” ensemble - helped him to discover his inner sense of rhythm, thus starting his relationship with music at an early age and performing as a drummer around the city. Since joining the mighty Desolat family back in 2009, he never stopped moving between the biggest meccas of European electronic music, playing at the best clubs and festivals from all over the world. Besides his unique DJ sets, Yaya is also a prolific producer: after releasing on some of the most respected underground labels, he went on and in 2016 founded his own imprint Tamango Records which has seen names from the likes of Loco Dice, Enzo Siragusa, Cuartero, Rich NxT, Cassy, Toman, and S.A.M. to name a few.

Looking back, there was never any doubt that music would take a special place in Dimitri’s life. Growing up in the Balkans during the post-communist era, his first crucial step came in 2004, when he purchased his first piece of professional DJ equipment. From that moment on, creating a buzz on the dancefloor became second nature. After several years of performing mainly at private parties and after-hour gatherings, Dimitri decided it was time to step onto a bigger stage. Within just a few years, his popularity began to rise rapidly, earning him recognition as one of the leading figures in Bulgaria’s new wave of electronic music artists.

Around 2008, Dimitri Monev opened a new chapter in his musical journey. Influenced by the deep, dark beats of old-school hip-hop, he began expressing his personal thoughts and emotions through his own productions. Aimed squarely at the dancefloor, his third EP, Casper, was released by the Berlin-based label Waldliebe Familien and received strong support from industry heavyweights such as Richie Hawtin, Fabrizio Maurizi, and Steve Lawler. His subsequent releases continued to attract the attention of trendsetting DJs like Marco Carola, Luciano, Steve Bug, Shlomi Aber, Gel Abril, and Scuba.

Dimitri’s original productions and remixes have been released on a wide range of respected labels, including Metroline Limited, ELARUM, Volupso, Coast2Coast, Retrospect, Vatos Locos, Stamp Records, Matahari, Still Play Records, Wavetech Limited, Malicious Smile, Heisenberg, Serkal, Pins & Needles, Baile Musik, Kosmophono, Act Natural Records, Draft, Natural Beat Records, Monday Morning Records, Antura Records, HOPELESS, Natural Rhythm, Waldliebe Familien, Quanticman Records, Innocent Music, Southpark Records, and Bla Bla Records, among others.

Driven by a passion to deliver high-quality electronic music that listeners can truly feel and connect with, Dimitri took another step forward in 2011 by co-founding his own imprint — Alboratory. The label embodies the same essence found in Dimitri’s sets: “from deep tech house to groovy dub techno, always on the move.” Over the years, Alboratory has become a vital part of the underground culture, collaborating with a carefully curated selection of talented artists from around the globe.

Dimitri’s continuous evolution reached a new milestone in late 2013 with the creation of THE NXT GEN, an event agency and vinyl label dedicated to promoting emerging talents on the international stage. DAVIDE SQUILLACE’s career title is constantly evolving. A label boss,
art creative and renowned DJ & producer in his own right, Davide has the
ability to express himself audibly and visually through the different
platforms he has created over the years. Since establishing his music
career over a decade ago, Davide’s dynamic sound continues to light up
and inspire dancefloors, spanning over many continents. Constantly
pushing the boundaries of electronic music, his sound is an eloquent mix
of techno, dance, indie, instrumental and downtempo beats. His side
project, Better Lost Than Stupid sees Davide collaborate with fellow
revered DJ’s: Martin Buttrich and Matthias Tanzmann. Also passionate
about art and culture, Davide established two creative brands and artist

DJ Vasquez, began his career in 1987. He was one of the first DJs to play house music in Bulgaria. In 1993 he won first prize at the national competition for DJs in Bulgaria. Since then he has been the official DJ of famous clubs such as Yolita, Joe, Escalibur, Neron, Indigo, Pasha, Casbah, Tequila, Briliantin, Iceberg, Planet 088, Escape, Yalta,Cacao Beach,Bedroom beach, Spartacus, Chervilo, Mania, Masai, Elephant, Momo, A- Lounge,Hacienda beach, Mascara and PM club. In 2003 he joined the radio show "In the mix" on Radio City. In the meantime, he plays in international clubs such as Amasonia in Malta, Club Dreamers in Marbea.  Vibe Club in Valencia, Spain, when he played side by side with  George Morrell.
