The special guest in this month's Boshke Beats show is DJ PIED PIPER from New Zealand, one of the first DJs of the goa scene, a true trance and techno veteran, the first label DJ of iconic TRANSIENT records UK. He played all over the globe in the last 25 years and proved to be a true deck wizard. Paul is a huge fan of Boshke Beats and out of the blue he sent this mix, made strictly from the labels releases. The releases that not many will pick up, the true EAR and a prominent sound warrior ... Sweet Spots Vol 2 - Illionaire's Abyssal Plain Mix

This is the recording of a 2.5 hour set that I began playing shortly after the clock struck midnight on December 31st, 2020, and we all got to say good bye (and good riddance!) to the worst year of the 21st century. It was recorded at the music studio we have in the back yard of my home in Los Angeles, where my housemates and I celebrated the start of 2021 with about 10 close friends, dancing the night away. 

Here's to a better year for all my friends, family, and my fellow music listeners, lovers, and dancers.  Thankfully, I'm pretty positive it will be a better year, mainly due to the fact that tomorrow we finally get to say goodbye to the worst president in the history of the USA. After that, we can hopefully begin working to heal the damage he and his corrupt administration caused to this country, and the world. 

Happy 2021, everyone! And fuck you, Covid-19 and 2020!
