This performance was recorded in 2021, and is broadcasted now to celebrate Gaudi's Sub Signals Vol.2, which features, amongst others, SUBSET's tune The Astrogator.

Kalumet’s new atmospheric techno EP ’Megamorphosis’ represents the transformation of the human mind throughout its existence. This sonic trip guides the audience from the primordial wisdom through getting lost in the vast emptiness of doubts where your bubbles burst, to finally return to the origo, floating in timeless harmony.

Kalumet one of the oldschool master of storytellers of the psychedelic trance scene. He got involved in the mid 90's, early enough to see the spreading of trance worldwide, to witness its transforming through the 00's to our present time. He have been performing psy-festivals such as Ozora, Lost Theory and  Boom festival. His new EP will be released on Balázs Zságer's electronica label Free Sequence.

ESOTERIC EXPANSE 5 is the fifth entry in DJ Basilisk’s Esoteric Expanse series, an ambitious series of long-form mixes dedicated to sonic world-building and cross-genre experimentation. Four hours and 70 meticulously curated selections await, opening with a hypnotic blend of ambient, downtempo, IDM, electro, and breaks before widening horizons with cosmic disco, acid house, progressive trance, and dub techno, always with a psychedelic touch. There is an earthy and organic aesthetic to many of these selections, wispy echoes of the starlit dance floors and resplendent chill domes of some counter-clock world orbiting on the far side of the sun. Expect to hear genres blended, melodies harmonized, and beats matched as extended, layered mixing transforms diverse source material into a seamless oneness.
