The Rocket EP from label head Rob peers into the corners of his versatile sound palette. Each track its own piece, telling its own story. Leading the way, Rocket hits hard and pays tribute to the soaring sounds of Melbourne techno. Turning Point changes the mood and pushes the envelope deeper, taking time to build and swell to the final drop… with some big fat bass. As we enter classic (but oh so good) drum sound territory, Is The F’nn Mic On? utilises vocals from a mic test gone wrong (no, really) and One Day ends the EP leaving you wishing you were dancing in the sun with friends. Mmm. Groovy.
