In my experience, the non-sexual, purely friendly love between a heterosexual man and a heterosexual woman is far too rare. In this somewhat older song I sing of such a friendly, almost sibling love for one of my oldest girlfriends, whom I have known for over 30 years.

Alice was getting very tired of sitting by her sister on the bank, it was a very hot day.  Suddenly a white rabbit with pink eyes ran close by.  Fortunately for Alice she was just in time to see it pop down a large rabbit hole. She ran across the field after it and in another moment down went Alice after the rabbit. Down, down, down, she went...to Wonderland!

How can one attain immortality? Certainly not by conquering death at some point. To have to die is an inevitable part of being human. But nevertheless something of us can live on after we have died. Be it in our children or in our music or our lyrics. And an essential reason to publish my lyrics and my music on SoundCloud and other music portals is exactly that: To continue to be heard and read, even if I have been dead for a long time.

Alice stretched herself up on tiptoe, and peeped over the edge of the mushroom, and her eyes immediately met those of a large caterpillar, that was sitting on the top with its arms folded, quietly smoking a long hookah, and taking not the smallest notice of her or of anything else.

Based in Stratford upon Avon UK, Mark has been working as a voice artist for a wide-ranging variety of clients since 2003. As a keen community choir and Barbershop group member, a vocal workout is never too far away!

The Gryphon and the Mock Turtle began solemnly dancing round Alice, every now and then treading on her toes when they passed too close and waving their forepaws to mark the time, while the Mock Turtle sang this:  

"Will you walk a little faster?" said a whiting to a snail,
"There's a porpoise close behind us, and he's treading on my tail.
See how eagerly the lobsters and the turtles all advance!
They are waiting on the shingle – will you come and join the dance?

"You can really have no notion how delightful it will be
When they take us up and throw us, with the lobsters, out to sea!"
But the snail replied "Too far, too far!" and gave a look askance —

"What matters it how far we go?" his scaly friend replied.

The Queen was in her Croquet-Ground.  The three gardeners were lying around the rose tree.  "Who are these"  said the Queen.  "How should I know" said Alice.  The Queen turned crimson with fury, and, after glaring at her for a moment like a wild beast, screamed “Off with her head!"

"What is a Caucus-race?” said Alice; “Why,” said the Dodo, “the best way to explain it is to do it.”  First he marked out a race-course, in a sort of circle, ("the exact shape doesn’t matter,” he said,) and then all the party were placed along the course, here and there. There was no “One, two, three, and away!” but they began running when they liked, and left off when they liked, so that it was not easy to know when the race was over.  However, when they had been running half an hour, the Dodo suddenly called out “The race is over!” and they all crowded round it, panting, and asking, “But who has won?” and the Dodo said,  “Everybody has won, and all must have prizes."
