Hello and welcome to my music.I am Aaron Charles Butler better known as Aaron B. Southern born and raised in Dallas,Texas on January 13th,
1982 .I grew up in a very rough area known as Oak Cliff.I had very strict parents and didn’t get to listen to hip-hop i had to sneak and listen to it. As I grew older, I realized I had a talent for singing. I found this out like most R&B singers by being in the church choir as a little kid.However , I didn’t have the support system I needed to really develop my talent. We were not financially able to do so and my folks really thought I wouldn’t amount to much in life due to the hardships experienced in their own lives. My life, most days, made it even harder to write because of the constant war between me and father who was verbally abuse and extremely controlling . I ended up eventually being put out on the street at age 15 with no place to go . I scratched and clawed my way through it all to become a great and intelligent black man. My drive was not only to be better than my father but greater than the stereotypes society says about the black male. Although this was in my heart ,believe me the hustle was real and so was my struggle. I did what I could and what I needed to in order to survive.This is where and how my passion and drive grew for music. No matter what song I may write or introduce to the public, you can bet it will have a meaning to it. Many moons later, I founded a production company called “ Monte Carlo Street Productions” named after the street I grew up on with all those challenges and strife . After years of college training and field experience, I am now a Cinematographer and Director. My company creates for all manners of audio and visual entertainment. We have released several movies and music videos and released my first album “ Paper Graffiti” . The album “ Paper Graffiti” is my first and is an extraordinarily produced combination of R&B and hip hop ,and it will change your idea of the traditional sound of a Texas artist. As the years have progressed, I developed my skills to be a true artist. I have a style all my own but I have been compared to artists like Scarface, Z-ro, Cee-lo Green,Andre 3000,and Marvin Gaye.Im the artist who sets himself apart from what the world does. I don’t talk about material things as repetitively like a lot of other artists.Now don’t get me wrong,I know how to keep the party going and give you something to ride to or make you question societel normals. The album “Paper Graffiti” Features classics like “One Of The Days” , “Miss Juicy aka Miss Juice” , Life After College” , “Who Can I Run To” and “Da Chewin” .I

I have worked with artists such as Big tuck,Young Bleed,G.O.A.T.,Inferno,M.C. Astro and more.I have been featured on albums such as M.C. Astro"Im Not You",Poor Vida Ent. “"M.O.B",Goat "Mileage",D.E.M Records "Southern Revolution",DJ Gemstarr "Operation Buzzkiller”.I’m looking to branch out and grow with my audience .I’m never limited to one genre of music.Ive done rock,country,soul,neo soul,gospel,opera etc.Please take my music and listen with an open heart and mind.
