Set deep in the peaks of the Northern Cascade mountains near Darrington, Washington, I once again am privileged to play the 4-6am set on the Forest Stage at Cascadia NW Arts and Music Festival. It's always an honour and a privilege to be invited to play for one of my favourite crews on and off playa, the Salty Jacks! This year for their annual fundraiser, they whisked us off to a tropical island filled with colourful flora, sweaty dancing fauna, and just so much bass. I rounded up a solid lineup consisting of @adam-iko @jessica-mordo @natemordo @roxanneroll and @alexoxley, and got to lay down some darkness during the witching hour!

To wrap things up, @adam-iko and I did a little B2B, so keep an eye out for that release as well, coming soon to a SoundCloud near you!

Treavor Moontribe made his debut with Kalliope on Saturday night, playing an extended set of searing techno while Mona Lisa spat fire and the Man burned. 

Celebrating 19 straight years, Treavor - founding member of the legendary Moontribe Collective, and one half of the Global Bass music project Desert Dwellers - is no stranger to the sound of the playa.   A few years back, Treavor discovered Kalliope and dreamt of playing a Saturday night set at the helm.

This is that dream in all its glory, unedited, as it was played during the Man burn of 2016.
