"In homage to the musical diversity at Dimensions 2016, we’ve embarked on an hour-long exploration of melodies and grooves from around the world, from Libya to Malta, Kenya to Trinidad & Tobago, and much closer to home. There’s also a few odes to the Dimensions lineup in there too, with a 7” from Kai Alcé and remix from Joe Claussel. Excited to head back to Pula for another year - come say hi if you happen to dance at our stage or boat party!

DIM063 - Stamp The Wax

It made a nice change to play some reclined cuts in a club setting before Stamp The Wax hosted Gaussian Curve's live UK debut at The Yard, London.

Some newer bits from Mood Hut, Tornado Wallace, Lord of the Isles and Vermont, alongside some 80's Japanese ambient and a few solo efforts from Gaussian Curve band members Gigi Masin and Jonny Nash. 

Not an exercise in beat matching, but then there were too many beats around to match. Recorded on a Sunday. Best served on a Sunday. Comment if you'd like to know an IDs.

Pete Tong was onto something with this Ibiza lark. 2+ hours selecting music for this sunset view at Hostel La Torre is up there with the realest DJ experiences I've had. And playing to a room full of people with no intention of dancing gave me the freedom to try things I've not had a chance in a proper club setting. Mad love to Pete Gooding and Mark Barrott for building something special at La Torre.

2 1/2 hours with the Bali sunset at hands-down the most breath-taking venue I've set foot in. 

Potato Head has such amazing musical curation for a beach bar and 5* resort. If something like this was opened in Europe it would soon be ruined by money and snobbery but they've managed to build something that's both classy and welcoming. Big love to Dan, Pete, Dea and everyone else who looked after me on the trip.

An RnB filled warm-up for Jordan Rakei on the main stage at Kala 2019, opening an evening at Empire which also included John Goméz and Theo Parrish. 

After a rather heavy one at Gjipe that afternoon it was a sensory overload trying to work my way round Theo Parrish's spaceship of E&S, extra isolators and tardis-sized monitors, followed by Kala's soul queens Jayda G, CC:DISCO and Jenifa Mayanja getting settled just behind where I was playing.  Kept it below 100bpm as much for my heart rate as not to upstage Jordan.  

Thanks to Ollie and Kala for putting their trust in me. Was a lot of fun building the floor from zero to biting point.
