Aaron Odum has MORE than a way with words. Not only is his attention to detail and lyrical skill above par in today’s industry.  “A.O.” (as many call him) has a unique commanding voice that demands attention on any type of song he is featured on. 

A.O. Is a lyricist at heart which is why he holds himself to a specific standard when song writing.
Although modern boom bap is his foundation. A.O. has a one of the most versatile styles and creative minds shown throughout his extensive catalog

A.O. has a unique perspective derived from his experiences growing up in the suburbs of Marlborough, Massachusetts. Both his parents were some of the few from their own families to make it out of poverty. Aarons Dads side of the family hails from the gritty streets of North Philly. While His moms side migrated from one the poorest Capitols in the World Port Au Prince, Haiti. It is because of this A.O. became embedded in street life. 

The duality of suburban life and the influence of the street culture from family, friends, and music put A.O. In between cultures which ultimately led to many trials and tribulations throughout his life that he explains in vivid detail in his work.
