Günther Fiala founded his own youth musical theatre troop in his hometown Pottenstein (Austria), which he conducted as the artistic director from 1996 to 2011. He wrote multiple musical theatre shows for children, teenagers and adults.

From 2003 to 2016 Günther studied Music Education at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna (singing with Brigitte Stradiot, piano with Michael Lipp and Helmuth Luksch, music theory with Alfred Halbartschlager, composition with Wolfram Wagner) and German at the University of Vienna.

Having performed at multiple venues at different events, Günther is a composer, singer, choir leader and pianist.
He is a member of the Austrian Composers‘ Society.
