From mixtapes to all aged raves to buying records, since getting behind the decks in 2008, Aaron has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in the genre.

With a clear appreciation for deep, heartfelt, and melodic tunes, the inevitable next step was producing. When the world paused and shows stopped, he put his whole heart into the studio, full-on, and damn is it ever evident. 

Still in the early days of his production journey, he has released with reputable labels such as Shogun, Flexout, and Dispatch to name a few. With plenty of forthcoming releases in 2025 and beyond, Aaron continues to develop his sound and carve out a place for himself in the Drum & Bass scene.

Plus, as the head of 170+ Recordings, he’s helping Vancouver, and Canada stay present on a global scale. If you’re following, check your inbox, there’s probably another new gem from Aaron Payne waiting for you.
