Steven Vim has been the driving force behind different monikers such as: Kinderleicht, Pitch & Shifter and Lippyfish, and he’s managed to create his own voice within the electronic music scene, dabbling into House, Deep House, Trance, Progressive and Tech House but also range into other genres such as: Alternative, Rock, Pop and Soundtracks. His work has earned him the respect of many important entities in the music industry, having also signed with revered labels like: Chilling Grooves Music, Baccara Music, Muenchen, Acunadeep, Trance Gold Records, Islas Baleares, Iplug and Infractive Digital, in addition to his own imprint Pulsetone Recordings.

It all started in the late 80/early90 when Steven heard the first Synthesizer based tracks from Jean-Michel Jarre and Vangelis on the radio. 
From there his interested increased for the electronic music movement and new generation of RAVE. So he started to buy his first cd's and records. During his apprenticeship as an electrician he was oscillating between playing at night at bars, improving his dj skills and gaining studio equipment and knowledge.

During the years he did some productions for some several different studio projects as ghostproducer till the late 2000. With his first project "Steve Edison" he released two tracks on a small music label "Heartbreaker" and "Get a Funk" which brought him on two UNIVERSAL MUSIC Compilations.

in 2010 he started 'TuneIN Podcast Radio' which he presents on FM Radio FRO at the Transmission Radioshow with Dj Miramar. In 2012 he launched his own Label PulseTone Recordings and two years after his second Label PulseTone Muted.

PULSETONE RECORDINGS – Founded in 2012 by Steven Vim. The current main label, with its initial releases, focused primarily on young artists and artists from the progressive/EDM and trance music genres. Over the years, sublabels such as PULSETONE MUTED, PULSETONE ENERGY, and PULSETONE PRESSURE were added to expand the musical repertoire.

PULSETONE ENERGY - stands for captivating, energetic Progressive Trance, Uplifting, Vocal Trance and Tech-Trance tunes. 

PULSE TONE MUTE - covers styles of house music, but focuses more on club-oriented subgenres of house, filter house, tech house, future and disco house.

PULSETONE PRESSURE - as the name might suggest, it's all about techno like acid techno, peaktime, melodic techno and raw/hypnotic techno.


We do not prefer a spefic kind of music or style, but we are addicted to the following genres:

Aaron Sim is an international Trance DJ & Producer based in Singapore. His mashups/bootlegs are widely appreciated by listeners around the globe and his recent singles have received international support from artists such as Roger Shah, Bryan Summerville and many more.

Known for his trademark fusion of uplifting and driving Trance sets, Aaron Sim is fast becoming a familiar name within Singapore and the Asia region. Aaron’s first overseas gig was at the Wet Electric Rave held at Sarawak, where he headlined and closed the night in front of hundreds. Having delivered such an impressive set, Aaron was invited to headline for the second installment of the festival and he definitely did not disappoint.

Aaron’s gradual rise has led to him opening for several renowned Trance DJs such as Alex M.O.R.P.H (DE), Ben Nicky (UK), James Dymond (UK) and Jordan Suckley (UK). Aaron continues to impress with his flexible and dynamically charged performances that captivates the crowd he is placed in front of. His sets are always changing to suit the constantly evolving sounds of Trance music, and every set leaves his listeners demanding for more.
