Kadence Musik was founded in 2012 as a music community and clubbing brand based in the Leeds,UK.

Imagine there exists a place in your city, where you can go to experience music that reaches within and stirs your soul.  A place where others go who share your passion, and to release themselves from the world, where time stops, your mind wonders and people dance. 

Kadence extends beyond a single event or genre into a community with its roots embedded in a love for House Music. We think your musical tastes reflect who you really are, and that coming together in the same space at the same time with others who share your love, creates a feeling of warmth, of relaxation and togetherness. 
We love music. We live music. Our musical journey through life has filled us with inspiration, brought together in the Kadence brand.  From Berlin, to the White Isle, Miami and beyond, the founders have been there in the crowds doing their time.

Our unique sound bridges all gaps between genres of the house music genre and   will never disappoint.
Alongside our talented residents we will always bring you the best up and coming underground artists from around the world and most importantly home grown local talent featuring on our podcasts and events.
Based in Leeds, Kadence finds its home at the intimate underground venue Distrikt Bar on Duncan Street, where we have thrown regular parties to showcase our sound. Our team always try to find the next upcoming talents to perform with our residents, Francesca Lombardo, Geddes and Latmun joined local rising stars such as Niko Maxen, Kepler and many more talented artists on our roster.

After a break from releasing as a label for a few years we look to come back in 2020 stronger than ever with a much improved drive and ethos.

Team Kadence

Aartekt is made up of Liam Wachs and Johannes Williamson. They are based in London, where they hold a residency at Flux which Johannes founded and runs. Liam has been producing for 8 years under various aliases. Their debut 12" Aartekt EP was released on Alland Byallo's Berlin imprint, Bad Animal, which briefly reached the top spot on Decks and received support from the likes of Tom Trago and Locked Groove. Meanwhile, Rolling Energy was also featured in Ruede Hagelstein’s new Watergate 13 compilation mix. This summer saw Aartekt support the likes of Motor City Drum Ensemble, Session Victim and Dixon, playing at a host of festivals including Dimensions, Beacons and Secret Garden Party. With an abundance of new material in the pipeline and the Flux label on the way soon, the Aartekt boys couldn’t be more excited.

I’am like the sun and the moon: a harmonic interaction. The passionate DJ is since 1991 into Electronic Beats and in the mid 90s he set to music one party after the other. His genres are so full like the book diversity in the state library of Berlin. He takes his listeners on a journey in electronic music landscapes full of adventures and variety between gently sounds and wild party music for the crowd. Who wants thier audience to shake their asses and dance off should order Daniel Reifenberg behind the decks. The nature lover make it that his listeners stay in a atmosphere while  moving their hips in the same time. The DJ-enthusiast is not just playing track by track. He tells much more sound tales, which remain in the body and the mind. The red thread from the first tone until the last beat make his sessions unforgettable.

Fabrice, also known as Fab From Toulouse, was born in the south of France. Legend has it that he came into the world with a vinyl record in his hands. Raised by a disco-loving father and a funk-passionate mother, he discovered the art of mixing at an early age and naturally gravitated toward the turntables.

In the early 2000s, he adopted the stage name Fab From Toulouse and began electrifying local clubs with joyful and captivating tech-house. His passion for analog machines and music composition brought him closer to his friend GUTS, who encouraged and trained him in musical writing. With his trusted MPC 4000 and home studio, Fab developed a sound universe oscillating between Afro-house and Tech-house, where groove and warmth meet.

His work quickly caught the attention of numerous labels, including F#cklite, Chupa Records, Heavenly Sweetness, Deep Bear Recordings, Material Series, Mr Carter, Like That Underground, MoBlack Records, Boxon Records, United Music Records, Go Deeva Records, Big Mama House Records, and many more.

In 2016, he released his first techno EP on the F#cklite label, marking a key milestone in his career. In 2020, he unveiled his debut solo album, Destination, conceived and produced in his home studio: an ambitious project that confirmed his ability to create a coherent musical narrative, blending tech-house, techno, and analog textures. That same year, he also delivered a remix of Everybody Wants to Be a Star by GUTS, released on the Heavenly Sweetness label.

ew wave; Alan never ceases to experiment in his unending search for that which is most bizarre yet enjoyable by the widest array of revelers possible.

Co-Fundador de Sonido Moderna y @clubsolemne, inquieto e interminablemente curioso, no se planta por mucho tiempo en ningún género. Últimamente oscila entre tintes de nostalgia de ghetto y acid clásico, junto a sonidos contemporáneos de vanguardia. Artista fuera y dentro del escenario. Trobador frustrado vuelto DJ. Participa como promotor en Nueva York desde el año 2010 donde su proyecto Night Vision organizaba eventos que incluyeron artistas como Asap Rocky, XXYYXX, Brodinski, Para One, The Hacker, Mr. Oizo, L-Vis 1990 entre otros. En Guatemala ha sido consultor de varios clubes incluyendo The Secret Garden y su actual proyecto Victoria Club Solemne. En su calidad de residente de Sonido Moderna y Solemne ha tocado (u organizado eventos con) la crema de la electrónica latina como DJs Pareja, Mijo, Machino, Iñigo Vontier y Matías Aguayo.
