Bio:
Mas is an audiovisual project recently formed by two members of the lpc collective label. They like to develop through their music and photographies a cold, minimalist and dark landscape.
Their work is inspired by artists from different horizons, such as : Delia Derbyshire for her contribution to concrete and electronic music during the 60’s, Le Corbusier for his minimalist vision of things and David Lynch for his particular and immersive aesthetic. The two parisian producers also give interest to the industrial music of Samuel Kerridge, for exemple. For this podcast, the duo tried to put all these influences together, for a slow travel to cold Autumn.

The glitch is a modern phenomenon. First officially printed in 1962, it can be defined as a break in the algorithms that increasingly dictate our lives. Our next guest, Kamikaze Space Programme, explores these so-called "errors" with an elegant diligence. His singular sound has offered him the opportunity to release on renowned platforms such as Luke Slater's Mote Evolver imprint and West Norwood Cassette Library. With a new LP slated for Osiris Music, he takes a welcome turn into more impalpable realms, focusing his sound increasingly on dubbed-out atmospheres. In anticipation of these new directions, we decided to catch up with this one of a kind producer for a preview of what is to come. Enjoy!

For our 11th EthnoKast, we invited our https://soundcloud.com/curuba-records friends https://soundcloud.com/psychotropiques, a French duo of DJs, producers and cultural activists. Their musical project started during a trip in Minas Gerais, Brasil, where one of them used to live. Later, they co-founded the multicolored label and collective Curuba in Paris, where they try to develop the downtempo/global bass movement in the alternative scene.

They see their project as a space of musical experimentation, where they blend both their cultural influences (Brasil/Middle-East/Eastern Europe) in a sort of synesthetic and syncretic audio patchwork. Their work focuses on textures, field recordings, percussions and organic sounds, going from slow and experimental brain massages to sample-infused syncopated rhythms.

Now, lay down and enjoy some zen beats retracing the evolution, from swimming in deep waters to jumping from branch to branch in the jungle.

Mysteries of the Deep CXXV - Guy Hobsbawm

London based Ario is a practitioner of deep and inquisitive music both as a DJ and curator of his label Astral Industries. 
Although his remit falls within the deeper shades of electronic music, his overall aesthetic draws on a broader spectrum that prizes the synthesis of both instrumental and electronic disciplines. 
Depending on context, he traverses the lines and forms between the ambient and techno worlds. What is common in each, however, is his alchemic handling of rich organicism mixed with darker, more austere sounds. 
Speaking with an emotive sensitivity, there is a certain self-awareness that permeates his crafted soundscapes, which are as much drone inspired as they are psychedelic and nature-driven.
