3,2,1.. lift off! Mukuna's tornado is heading your way and the only possible thing to do is to surrender to the tension. Industrial percussion, broken beat and glacial synthesisers are soaking you right into the eye of the storm. A variety of drums combined with African chants are another introduction of a new whirly roundabout. Fast and furious melodies are evolving into a mind-bending techno track, ready to hypnotise and sweep you of your feet in Mukuna’s twister. A refreshing blend of dancehall influenced tracks with jacking house and rhythmic noice keeps the mix interesting till the very last second until the storm settles. Enjoy flying!

Hyperterranean #010 with SHXR1

GiGi FM is a trained dancer, which gives her a deeper insight into the intrinsic relationship between music and bodily movement. You can read a lot more about her philosophy and approach in the interview below, but you don't even need to know about it to hear this in her RA Podcast—a collection of swirling deep techno that rivals anything made by the usual cohort of "hypnotic" techno heads.

Looking at the tracklist doesn't really do it justice, but the names involved give you an idea of what to expect: Varuna, ASC, Donato Dozzy, The Orb, Sunju Hargun. This is techno that ripples rather than bludgeons, that moves with an ethereal grace, where tracks bleed into one another beautifully, with a few surprises, too. While you're here, you should check out her Magnetite EP for Bambounou's label Bambe, already one of the young year's most bewitching techno records. But if this is your introduction, then turn off the lights, light a candle or some palo santo, and sink into two hours of your new favorite techno DJ.

We are happy to strengthen our connection with the prosperous Leipzig scene with the next episode of “Circulating Waves” and presenting you another great artist from the east-german capital of Hypnotic Techno: Ayumi.

Together with her Nebula collective, which is also home to artists like Kontinum, Murky FM, Kiara and others, she is responsible for the finest hypnotic parties far and wide. Apart from that Ayumi also hosts INPUT, a regular event at infamous Institut für Zukunft, which offers newcomers a stage to develop. 

Her provided mix will carry you from the darkest, erratic outskirts of the vortex, accelerating straight from there to the rhythmically pumping core and finally touches down in her homeland of enormous clouds of dust and gas, which are occupying the space between the stars and giving birth to the new.

Ian's work was unknown to me prior to him sending me over his mix, but a further look into his page and profile has uncovered some 
really nice deep and hypnotic music (his link is below so make sure you check this out)

"My musical foundations are rooted in AC/DC, Sabbath and Metallica and give rise to a love of 4/4 rhythm and the riff. From here they veered into where worlds collide – Pink Floyd met the Orb in a student dive and a love of electronica was born, encompassing pioneers such as Orbital, Leftfield et al through to UK D&B, taking in Kruder & Dorfmeister and the dub scene along the way.
The love affair however ended in the early nineties, I wasn’t feeling anything from electronica any more, but I knew the music I could hear in my mind must be out there - somewhere. My musical imaginations seemed to put all of the above aspects in place and was only discovered pre pandemic in the form of deep techno. This discovery so rekindled my love and excitement that I took the plunge into DJing - I wanted to take the music internally heard and create mixes to ease back to and soothe the soul. Voila. I hope you all get the same level of enjoyment from this mix, as I had creating it." - Morian.
