Tresor welcomes Israel Vines to the family.

Bred in the 90's U.S. Midwest party scene, Israel Vines has since carved out a singular space in the American underground as a DJ, remixer, and producer. In 2015, he joined forces with Detroit's legendary Interdimensional Transmissions crew to showcase his post-techno excursions on their sublabel Eye Teeth, on which his debut album, "And Now We Know Nothing", was released in 2020 following a string of highly rated 12" EPs.

"Voices", a six track EP delivered for Tresor, sees Vines approaching his finest form. Misty, breathtaking atmospheres and distorted vocals waft like murmuring ghosts across concrete floors, trailed by columns of light and beings from another realm. Broken kicks, halftime snares, outer-world synthetic tones and interlocking bass-heavy polyrhythms abound, combining to create a boundary-pushing take on the techno blueprint.

This is futurist energy commingled with raw, unrestrained spirit – honest, pure and intense.

This release is dedicated with love to the memory of Greg Mudge (1974-2021) - Community leader, restaurateur, inspiration, dear friend to many, and a pillar of the Detroit Techno scene for nearly three decades.

Danza Native owner Forest on Stasys brings his signature sound to the very first Mirror Tapes Worldwide. The organic approach of the Argetinean producer complements the ethereal character of the fresh Mirror Tapes label perfectly. ‘Kabata’ captures what we expected from the Buenos Aires based producer and brings some real dancefloor-exotica to this first Worldwide VA record. 

Mirror Tapes is a Melbourne/Naarm based label, founded by the talented producer Adam McCoy aka ‘Citizen Maze’. The label focuses on electronic music that captures the ambience and immersion of the world around us. Adam has been on our radar for quite some time now due to his extraordinary approach within his live sets, creating real sonic journeys. Happy to see his vision expand into this newborn label.

Embracing an infectious surge of electro-dancefloor energy, HMV unleashes a compelling auditory experience.

'Circles,' the EP's most subdued offering, maintains the signature energy that defines HMV. Anchored by a classic breakbeat rhythm and driven by an engaging bassline, 'Circles' also weaves in a subtly entrancing synth melody. While less intense than its counterparts, the track still holds its ground with a satisfying balance of elements.

Dutch duo Artefakt releases on Australia's Nightime Drama with three of their iconic deep techno tracks. Following standout releases on Delsin, Semantica, and Field, they present their first EP of 2024. The 'End Of Nations' EP showcases Artefakt's expertise in three distinct styles. The title track, 'The End Of Nations,' exemplifies their signature deep, atmospheric techno sound. 'Viper' features their renowned acidic touch blended with melancholia. The third track, 'Nimiety,' introduces broken rhythms wrapped in ethereal melodies and dreamscapes. Completing the package, Adelaide resident Ben Featherstone remixes the title track, creating an impeccable groove with subtle acid stabs. His remix stays true to Artefakt's authentic style while introducing a strong new identity.
