Chicago's Jeff Derringer is a well-respected producer and Dj of the American techno scene. He is the founder of Oktave, a resident dj at Smart Bar and an adjunct professor at Columbia College. Among his musical influences are early 80s film scores, industrial, acid house, trip-hop and IDM among others. Derringer's productions have been released on Electric Deluxe, Perc Trax, M_Rec Ltd, Soma Records and more. 

For Bassiani Podcast series, one of Chicago's most prominent techno artist provides solid techno sounds, making no compromises with his trademark dark and brutal textures. It's an adventurous and energetic mix that focuses especially on the trippy and emotionally rich techno gems.

(Includes a few machine malfunctions, but that's part of the fun of using ancient synths).
