HomeMort is pleased to announce the second release of the HMX techno collection.

In this release we see the duo Distorted Planet as protagonists with their first EP.
The Ep includes 2 tracks.
The first is a state-of-the-art banging track with industrial and metallic sounds.
The second is a broken record that lets the listener enter a dark and gloomy environment that accompanies it for the duration of the song.

To conclude this EP, remixers could not be missing.
Vanya Koreya with his experimental remix of “Anal Kick” which sees the tune completely distorted with hardcore sounds.
And last but not least the remix of the other song created by Scarlit Port, which transforms "Watch it Bleed" from a broken record into a mystical ritual surrounded by engaging percussive groves and dark sounds.

Slam back doing the damage with their new EP 'Echo Enclosure'

Soma label heads Slam return to their home base with yet another dance floor storming record, the Echo Enclosure EP. The Glasgow duo have been on prolific form of late with multiple EPs this year alone paired with an intense touring schedule giving them the opportunity to road test their music to the max. This latest release has a deeper tone than previous release but remains just as unyielding. 

Title track Echo Enclosure proves that less is more as the duo open with a striped yet pounding and effective dance floor weapon. Scintillation leans more on the twisted rhythmic elements to provide the core. Whilst just as reserved as the opener, in it’s own way, the pair certainly begin to ramp up the intensity on this one. As the name might suggest, Acid Implication utilises the ever reliant squelch of the 303 giving real power and presence to the track. The Pace closes out the EP, once again displaying Slam’s masterful production control. A subtle yet devastatingly effective sequence charges through as weighty percussive elements keep the momentum menacing throughout.

Soma Label heads Slam continue their assault on 2019 with the Reverberation EP. The pair have been on tremendous form of late and their relentless output on Soma is a testament to their dedication to the grander electronic music scene. 
Title track Reverberation opens the EP with pair’s clinical production as modulating, alarm like synth work drives the basis of a suitably energetic track. Viper has the Glaswegian duo really taking things up a notch, pushing the BPM and rattling out a pure unadulterated dance floor weapon. Jarring synths attack head on as this screams full on 90s Techno assault.

Slam rework Nitzer Ebb Nitzer Ebb, Silent Breed, DK8, Terrance Fixmer and more for the final instalment of their Archive Edit series

Soma label heads Slam curate a specially designed package of tracks to finalise their Archive Edit project that sees them delve deep into Techno’s past to bring some of the genre’s best tracks into the modern age. The Archive Edit project started as a way for Slam to showcase and share the many different edits that had made their way into their DJ sets over the last few years. The pairing of Stuart McMillan & Orde Meikle have both raided their extensive collections, picking out tracks that have defined countless sets over their career. Tracks from luminaries such as Nitzer Ebb, Thomas P Heckmann (as Silent Breed), Damon Wild & Terrence Fixmer have been re-edited alongside some of Slam’s own unreleased material, showcasing the duo’s current sound; one that constantly naturally evolves, matures and demonstrates why the duo have been at the forefront of the global scene since its inception.

“We resurrect nine cuts from our archive collective collections for your listening and spinning pleasure. Some are original material, some are live re-edits, some are well-known, others are not! They all have one thing in common, they all attempt to unashamedly destroy dancefloors, and thus featured heavily, (usually toward the end of our DJ sets) in the last year or so well known”. Now we share them with you!"

Slam open the album with an absolute monster track in the form of their rework of the legendary Nitzer Ebb’s ‘Join In The Chant’. The anthemic EBM/post-punk infused original is given a thrashing overhaul from the duo marking one of the standout tracks of this collection.  A special live rework of fan favourite ‘Scorpion’ drops before the previously unreleased ‘Memoriam’ delivers on a more emotive tip. Firing back into the edits is Thomas P Heckmann’s seminal ‘Sync In’, under his Silent Breed Moniker which is a fast-paced, Neo-Trance affair Slam then drop the manic ‘1001’ which takes the BPM stratospheric. DK8’s, Murder Was The Bass is up next and given a 2019 update as the duo's edit snatches up all the most perfect elements of the track leading nicely into a rework of French EBM legend Terence Fixmer’s ‘Body Pressure’ - driving through with its twisted beats and vocals. Another special live edit of the first Archive Edit release, Damon Wild’s Rotary makes an appearance as the album closes out with the rave infected, rework of the Hertz classic ‘Recreate’

HomeMort was born as a Punk Collective back in 2015 with the main goal of promoting the Sardinian Punk Scene, publishing several vinyl and CDs.
In 2020 officially becomes a record label and begins to get close to the techno environment through one of its founders E.L.I.A.S.
This way the idea of publishing a techno catalougue starts taking form, aiming to influence techno music with the Punk music sound and approach.
This is how this first release came to be, a Remixes V/A based on five original Punk tracks previously released by the label.
On the remix duty are on the starring küetzal and Sancta Sanctorum (founders of the label Sticky Ground), Leafeater, Maluz and E.L.I.A.S himself.
The result is a strong five tracker, with lots of shades, each directly influences by its original track and the unique approach of the remixer. All this with the fine line of techno connecting the missing dots through raw and distorted sounds, dark texture, Industrial and acid vibes, hard hitting drums and rolling grooves.
