Blush Response presents his latest album: RECONSTITUTION. A forward sonic exploration by Berlin based Cuban-American producer and sound designer Joey Blush.

Reconstitution is the first of two albums written during the pandemic.  The album is a sequel to 2016's Reshaper, and it represents another departure in sonic texture for Blush. The seven track selection flows smoothly into the depths of direct-driving future industrial mechanics.  Near breakcore speed beats morph into acidic ambient techno anthemics, shifting seamlessly through styles while retaining Blush's signature and ever evolving sound design. For the 15th chapter of VSA Radio, upcoming local producer and DJ Tino invites you for a daring journey with a one hour mix of mesmerising face melter techno. Tino is heavily inspired by the Birmingham sound, and this inspiration is ever-present in his ruthlessly grinding productions and mixes.

"Ever since I was a kid, I've had a love for intense music genres. I got into the Copenhagen rave scene four years ago, and was enchanted from the very first time I stepped into a party at Et Andet Sted. Soon after, I started to produce techno music and DJ myself, and I have been working on developing my sound ever since. Since I am very self critical about my art, I've struggled a lot with being satisfied with my work. 

However, lately I finally feel like everything I've learned on my musical journey is starting to come together, and I am actually feeling proud and confident to present my productions. Some of them are included in the mix. I hope you will enjoy it!"

Following his hunger for new projects, French electronic music reference @danglesmaxime worked on the soundtrack of  “Les Délivrés”, a documentary directed by Thomas Grandremy about the alarming working conditions of delivery men/women employed by platforms such as Deliveroo and Uber Eats. He’s now extending his soundtrack work with an album. The alienation, stress, struggle and hope of the documentary’s protagonists were his sources of inspiration to draw this poetic extension of the director's harrowing and necessary documentary.

« Affrontement », the first single  from this 7-track LP which will be released by November 2021, talks about their fight for social justice. With raw and striking sounds, sometimes remembering sound of a factory, relates to the alienation of this kind of job. Even with a touch of melancholic, the harsh sound brings back to the struggle they are facing. Indeed, an incisive and powerful track between electronica and IDM, to push us in our thoughts.
