London based Romek Boyer (AKA Rommek) & Aimée Mullen form the experimental, electronic act; Torn Relics. The body of their work is a mixture of cyber-punk electronics with tribalistic violin, rhythms and tones. Their debut EP, The Poisoned Chalice, was released on Sacred Court in 2019 and included a remix from SNTS. Abolish The Dogma, the duo's debut 8-track album was released in 2020 on Leyla records, which showcases the diversity of their production styles.

'Burning Injustice', the second album by Torn Relics, forthcoming on the Berlin based label Instruments of Discipline, weaves mythical and futuristic elements of an unknown world. Haunting, visceral and diverse in production styles, the duo continues to pave their own musical territory.

This album was written between 2017 - 2021, in which the music produced reflects the decay of the political and social landscape in the UK, from the Brexit divide to covid isolation. This music serves as an antidote in these turbulent times.

Delphosound is a multi-genre DJ producer from Costa Rica, his productions include genres such as,
Techno, hardtechno, EBM, Industrial and downtempo, with sounds inspired by the 80s and 90s,
combining these sounds with electric guitars and dark synths.
He was part of two metal bands in his country, this led him to develop an interest in exploring the production of electronic music,
including analog and digital elements, as well as distorted guitars in many of his productions.
The project has always focused on exploring all types of rhythms adapted to a more powerful and darker atmosphere,
including within their own productions, remixes for artists of genres such as classic hip hop, industrial metal and pop.

This is the eighth Pi Electronics vinyl output, coming from the French producer under the project name Elements of Joy. 
Also known from his techno alias; UVB, this is his industrial/noise influenced project, which only had some limited releases up to date. 
Keeping the beats rather slow, PI08 carries a taste of ‘80s, Wave music.

In 1990, Frankie Bones opened “Groove Records,” a techno outpost deep in Brooklyn. Adam X soon became a co-owner and by 1995 the shop was relocated to Manhattan, with Heather Heart rounding out the trio. The new shop was called “Sonic Groove” and it quickly became ground zero for techno in New York City. There was nothing like it in the area at the time or, arguably, anywhere in America.

Sonic Groove was 110% dedicated to techno, a genre that was just past its infancy and exploding worldwide. A community emerged around the shop and thus the label was spawned.

Adam X had an agenda from the very beginning as label curator (and eventually sole owner): to release some of the most forward thinking underground techno music around. Realizing that goal was no easy feat, considering the volume of records being released at the time in a fast-paced and growing scene.

Fast-forward 25 years. Adam X and Sonic Groove are still at the forefront of modern underground techno, sticking to the same ethos and pushing the envelope further into the future. The faces and sounds may have changed, but the label has kept true to the vision. In an era now dominated by image, style, and trivial content, Sonic Groove continues its mission of putting the music first and foremost.

Now in celebration of 25 years, Sonic Groove releases a muscular 12 song compilation of  previously unreleased music comprised from the label's current artist roster.  A testament to techno's ever evolving sound and serves as a modern document showcasing the path Sonic Groove has taken and where it has led to, proving that as time passes, there is still room for creativity and innovation in the genre as demonstrated throughout these 12 tracks.
