"I did a load of festivals this summer and stumbled across the good, the bad and the rubbish. One band i did see however were truly wonderful. I was at Festival No.6 and was getting ready to see Grumbling Fur – for some reason i was early, don’t ask me why as i don’t really know myself… Anyway i walked into what looked like a town hall and came across a bunch of young things tearing it up. All i really remember to be honest was a stick like singer screaming into a microphone and a girl playing the keyboards like it was both the first and last time she would ever do such a thing. I asked around and found out the band were called Hot Vestry…Is that a good name? Who cares…"

Taylor & Leigh are an Award winning acoustic duo who’s blend of Country Blues is heart wrenchingly soulful. Heather has the voice of an angel with the power of a hurricane. Alex's guitar playing simply takes your breath away. This recently culminated in winning a best new comer award at The Celtic Connections International Festival. 

Their music has been featured on CNN’s programme ‘Go Edinburgh’ which has been broadcast internationally and used to promote Ken Loach’s film ‘Aye Fond Kiss’. Taylor & Leigh’s music is also regularly played on Celtic Music Radio 95FM. 

They play consistently across the UK, including The Celtic Connections International Festival, Eden Festival, Loch Lomond Festival, The O2 Academy Glasgow , King Tut's Glasgow, The Playboy Club London, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Sneaky Pete's Edinburgh as well as playing The Roadhouse and Dry Bar in Manchester. Together they are a potent force, and playing across the UK has made them a 'must see' live act.

Ruby Tuesday are a 2 piece dirty rock and roll/ blues band rolling in from Stockport & Salford, with big drum beats and even bigger guitars, Ruby Tuesday have been known for there unique sounds and being louder than most at their live shows!

The band consist of Jimmy Mccarthy on Guitar and sounds. Using a mixture of the newest sounds and the loudest noise on the music scene he incorporates retro blues and rock n roll riffs which creates an Electric Orchestra of its own that must not be missed.
Joel is the drummer & singer of Ruby Tuesday, and to match the big guitar sound comes big drum beats & raspy distorted vocals that become shouted-melodies.

The band came together through a shared love for bands such as Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Kills and The Black Angels while keeping there unique driving sounds.
