RNH makes music that’s mainly in the singer/songwriter tradition but with a personal expression characterized by jazz, Swedish folk song, mysticism and spiritual search that’s all his own. 

Rambling Nicholas Heron has been active recording lo-fi American music since 2006. 
Around that time the singer, guitarist and songwriter gathered a four piece band that’s extremely effective and responsive. By the time of their first proper release in 2011 they were the paramount local indie folk rock/boogie band of Gothenburg, albeit the best kept secrets of the city. They supported and gigged with Daniel Johnston, Kurt Wagner, Papercuts, Band of Horses etc. 

In 2014 things took an unexpected turn and the sequel "Freetown Hwy" was introverted, dark and decidedly lo-fi. It was finished with the help of Pelle Nyhage (Daniel Norgren, and was awarded the Swedish Manifesto Award for Singer/Songwriter of the Year. 

By now the singer disbanded and a period of productivity followed, which would last for four years. Between 2015 and 2018, no less than 35 singles and five albums were released. In truth, RNH lost his old audience but gained a new one and now only makes sporadic live appearances.

These Swede’s saturate their songs with equal amounts howling 60s Garage, fuzzy psychedelic obscurity and punk blended with catchy pop hooks. Satiating with reverb and bursting vocal shrills, the Abba Zaba boys absorb and deliver the best parts of a classic lost era.

i finally made a damn soundcloud page.

Hello Im Pav Modern, founder of Modular Recordings home of The Avalanches, Cut Copy, The Canyons, The Presets, Wolfmother and Tame Impala amongst many others many others.

Before my life as a record company I was a concert promoter and had the good fortune of promoting artist such as Nirvana, Beastie Boys, Fugazi, Pavement, Sonic Youth Pearl Jam, My Bloody Valentine, Hole, Bikini Kill, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs , LCD Soundsystem, Daft Punk and hundreds of others across Australia and New Zealand.

I created The Summersault festival in Australia and an island festival in Croatia called For Festival and curated/creative directed events in Australia like Vivid Live 2011 and most recently the UNPOPULAR  exhibition at the Powerhouse Museum.

I have played 60s oriented garage/beat/psychedelia in different bands, Les Artyfacts and The Flight Reaction for about ten years, Now I write and record songs on my own just for fun.
