Hood Boy Entertainment is a Northeast Texas independent record label founded in the spring of 2006 by Thomas Hood aka Big Hood (Dj Hood). After being inspired by the talent of his brothers, a childhood friend and other local talents, Thomas built a music recording studio in Sulphur Springs, TX. Within a few months of being founded the label started recruiting talent. Over the years Hood Boy Entertainment has compiled a roster full of some of the East’s best underground stars. The roster includes artists Ya Boy Hood, K.I., T-Hood, Yung Polo, Big Hood (Dj Hood) and Lil SAY. Hood Boy Entertainment has released several Mixtapes and one official album since 2006.

I am the father of modern Wadestep. it isn't every day that a new genre of music pops up, but i have a feeling that wadestep is here to stay. i often ask myself "why?" when i listen to the radio and hear music that all sounds the same. why do you people keep listening to it? why do you keep paying for it? why do you keep seeing all these bands and artists live? it's truly disturbing. after the current fad named "indie" music dies out, Wadestep will still be going strong. 

Also, i am always looking forward to furthering my musical endeavours with the help of other artists. if you feel that you might be able to keep up with the pace of Wadestep or Drum and Wade, let me know.

if you listen really carefully, you'll hear that other than the drum beat, every sound in my songs is a distorted recording of a friend named "Wade" saying his name... which also happens to be "Wade". This is Wadestep. 

Before you go on your annoying rants about why my music is so terrible, please try and listen to it with a sense of humour. not all of life is so serious. and for those of you who are offended by how bad my music is, just remember that by comparison your god awful music might seem slightly better compared to it. but don't count on it.

(Born October 27)  And was raised in Fort Worth, Texas. He is an American Rapper/Singer/Songwriter. Known by his Stage Name Six-2 believes himself less as a rapper per-say and more a conversationalist and story teller.
His music career began as a teenager when he and friend El Dogg created the group Gena-Cide. 
They gained notoriety and radio play from their song “Tha City” offs the self-named album "Waste uva Cular". 
They also received national radio play when DJ Greg Street featured “Simple as that” on his it’s 6 O’clock mixed tape.
While continuing to work on new material Six-2 was approached by and introduced to DFW legend The D.O.C by friend and producer Erotic D. 
After D.O.C heard and saw Six-2’s natural raw talent brought him out to Los Angeles to meet and work with Dr. Dre on his ALBUM The Chronic 2001.
 While he was there he was able to write and be featured on two songs that made the track line up XXplosive (HittMan, Kurupt, Six2, & Nate Dogg on the hook) and Bitch Niggas (Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Six-2). 
The Chronic 2001 went on to sell over 8 million copies and reach Platinum status. To this day it remains on the “Top 200 Best Rap Albums of All Time”. While working on his solo album.
Due to the success of the album Six-2 joined the lineup for the “Up in Smoke” Tour. The largest most successful Hip-Hop tour in U.S history to date.
Upon returning to the DFW area Six-2 set upon releasing his 1st solo album the featured the talents of The D.O.C., Dr.Dre, Snoop Dogg, M.C. Ren, Nate Dogg, Ice Cube, Devin The Dude, just to name a few, but due to MISCOMMUNICATION  it was released by The. D.O.C. titled “DEUCE”.
After leaving D.O.C and Silverback Records Six-2 was once again approached by another Hip-Hop Legend Timbaland and asked to come to Miami, Fl to work alongside him and a few other artists and songwriters (Attitude, Kerri Hilson,)as an independent artist/songwriter to create the now known as “Shock Value” album. While there he co-wrote The PussyCat Dolls No.1 Hit Song “Wait a Minute” and the feat. Justin Timberlake “Release”.
In true Six-2 style as soon as he returned back to Texas he joined up with Big Mike (of the Ghetto Boys) and went down to Houston where while working on a new album “Southern Hydro” They wrote and shot the “Down Home” video that went on to become one of the most viewed videos on YouTube in 2008. While due to some personal matters that needed to be attended to by both parties the album has yet to be completed and released but with most of it recorded with tracks feat. Pimp C, Bushwick Bill, Korey Blues, & Devin The Dude. They both still plan on releasing it in the near future.
Was able to reach Billboard's #1 Spot with “Bag Lady” by Erykah Badu
Since then he has released Mac-a-roni and G’s, Affiliated, and Concrete Evidence in Street Album form. Shot a Video to his single Monsta feat Yung Lott, Faddy Daddy, and The GS Boys that premiered and continues to on MTV and MTV.Com during All-Star Weekend 2012.
After taking a short hiatus Mr2Face is back. With 2 Street Albums Still Affiliated, Legendary. DFW ICON”.  Finally after 15 years GenaCide (El Dog & Six-2) are back in the studio Recording their 3rd Studio Album 
While Working on a New Six-2 Solo Album yet to be named both scheduled to be released in the coming months.
