Often we're too focused on what's happening now, and fail to acknowledge the influences in our lives that have helped to shape us and who we are today. This project is about appreciating and celebrating the artists that influenced us and our style and sound growing up, and just paying homage in the best way we know how to!

Eight song's as well as five pieces of music intertwined to take you through an array of different emotions and mind frames. Mellow, mood shifting music to paint a picture of all four seasons of the year, and the feelings and the artists we take inspiration from within them. 'influenced' is my third EP release since November 2020 and will be available on all digital streaming platforms from 28.01.2022.

02. Abby Power Ft SamXVI - Find My Way (Prod By Frances, The Mute)

Hailing from North West London, rapper and songwriter Abby Power has been writing and recording music since 2010.

Beginning her journey into music writing poetry, inspired by Def Jam poetry slams, she soon cascaded into song writing, drawing influence from the likes of Ms. Lauryn Hill Kanye West and Mos Def.

Abby took a 5 year break from music and made her triumphant return in 2020 with a string of notable singles and collaborations, as well as her Home Is where the start Is EP. 

Since then, Abby has released 3 more EP's. The second EP, Class of '94 just 3 months after Home Is where the start Is, both of which bagged the #1 spot on Amazon UK’s Rap & Hip Hop chart from pre-sales alone. 

A third Hip Hop EP influenced was released in January 2022, going #1 in the Amazon UK Hot New Releases chart, and a fourth EP, this time an R&B/Neo Soul project called Protostar was released in May 2022, which went to #1 in the Amazon UK R&B Best Selling chart, as well as being top #10 in the Hot New Releases Chart. 

As well as the above releases, Abby has been played on over 25 different radio shows (as of July 2021) including BBC Introducing London and BBC Radio London, has gained over 60,000 Spotify & 100,000 Apple Music streams, and had placements with Count Blessings (Prod by Frances The Mute) on Spotify's editorial playlists New Music Friday UK & Fresh Finds UK & Ireland.
