The journey begins in the valley, where instinct guides the first steps. There is no plan, only a
feeling - to leave the car behind and follow the nearest path upwards. The trail leads through a forest drenched in moss, damp earth underfoot, and the quiet breath of pines shading the way.
It is a beginning wrapped in stillness, as if the mountain itself is waiting.

As the ascent grows steeper, the landscape opens little by little. Between the trees, sudden
windows of light reveal sweeping views of the surrounding hills, endless forests stretching
across the horizon. Each pause carries a sense of wonder, the climb itself becoming part of
the rhythm. The higher the path winds, the lighter the heart becomes, as though every step
pulls the spirit closer to something timeless.

Near the summit, a hidden cave emerges. From the outside, it seems small and unassuming - but inside, it unfolds into a vast, otherworldly chamber. Stalactites and stalagmites form silent sculptures, while the last glow of the setting sun pours through the entrance, bathing the stone in a magical light. It feels like stepping into a secret only nature can hold, a moment of awe suspended in time.

This EP carries those impressions into sound - the quiet beginning in the valley, the momentum of ascent, and the luminous mystery discovered at the peak. A translation of fleeting beauty into rhythm and tone, held like an echo of the mountain itself.

After 22 light-years Luke Slater’s Planetary Assault Systems keeps exploring space and time with different musical means. Staying true to the project’s initial mission statement, Slater comments on the new yet familiar musical direction: “For me music has to go forward. I’d feel I was cheating by sticking to tried and tested formulas. There’s a valid use for these, but this album has its own agenda.” With Arc Angel, Planetary Assault Systems departs to new musical frontiers by focussing on melody, but staying rooted in the purist values of Techno that Slater shaped over his decades- and generations-spanning career.

Sinfol readies a two-part release on his Anagram Label featuring Anetha, Elad Magdasi, Octual and more.

Curated by Amsterdam's Sinfol, Volume 1 of ‘Phasing Faces’ will feature himself alongside Italy’s Dävide, Berlin’s Elad Magdasi and Parisian producer Anetha. Meanwhile Volume 2 will see core Anagram artist Octual helm the package, joined by Mathame, who’s appeared on Krill Music and Souvenir Music, as well as Maukook who’s also known under his DJ Playstation moniker.

Sinfol’s dark and ominous ‘Trembling’ lays down a cacophony of sounds whilst a mesmerizing voice operates on top. The ethereal and rhythmic ‘Ono’ from Dävide then introduces soaring synths and various spectral nuances before Work Them Records producer and Blocaus resident Anetha’s ‘Acid Train’ lives up to its name with an infectious 303 and ravey stabs. Tying things together, Front Left Records’ Elad Magdasi’s ‘Two Floors’ closes off the release in an epic manner with thudding kicks and otherworldly melodies.
