Rebolledo - Mayan Warrior - Virtual Burning Man 2020

Ruiz dB is back in Be One Record with this special and great track called ¨Noche Eterna¨

“Noche Eterna” is a song inspired by the Poem of the Mayan culture. Huetzki (Heart) is a Maayat’ann poem from the ancient Mayan civilization and that has been passed down from father to son for generations.

This is a work carried out over two years in which Ary and her grandmother Adelina, friends from Mexico, have collaborated, where they interpret the poem in the original language, recited by Adelina. The subsequent translation into Spanish is interpreted by Ary, both voices included in the song.

Also from Cuba, Indira S, an excellent singer and friend, interprets the vocal inspired by this beautiful poem, giving musical meaning to this wonderful “Noche Eternat".

Lastly, I would like to mention my brother Miguel Bastida who helped me with the structure and mix to elevate the track. A song with a lot of feeling and groove, which includes Latin elements such as pianos, trumpets and percussion as harmonic definition and some synths to enlarge the drops. We hope you like it. be one

“Noche Eterna”  una canción inspirada en el Poema de la cultura Maya; Huetzki (Corazón) es un poema del Maayat’ann, proveniente de la antigua civilización Maya y que se ha ido transmitiendo de padres a hijos durante generaciones.

Este es un trabajo realizado durante dos años en el que han colaboradoa Ary y su abuela Adelina, amigas de Mexico, donde interpretan el poema en el idioma original, recitado por Adelina y la posterior traducción al castellano interpretado por Ary, ambas voces incluidas en la cancion. 

También desde Cuba, Indira S, excelente cantante y amiga interpreta la vocal cantada inspirada en este precioso poema, dandole sentido musical a esta maravillosa ¨Noche Eterna¨

Por ultimo mencionar a mi hermano Miguel Bastida que me ayudó a la estructura y mezcla para elevar el track. Una canción con mucho sentimiento y groove, en el que se incluyen elementos latinos como pianos, trompetas y percusiones como definición armónica y algunos syntes para agrandar las rompídas. "I wanted to create a remix of a song that symbolises my childhood and adds my personal touch inside. I want to make timeless music with a touch of nostalgia that can cross generations. In making my remix of ‘Big Jet Plane,’ I kept the key elements of the original Angus & Julia Stone song but added an indie/dance vibe so that DJs could play in their sets. I mixed acoustic and electronic drums to give it that 'played by a musician' feel. The bass has an acoustic and a sub-layer to give this same feeling. I updated the iconic guitar riff using Serum synths to add my personal touch. I wanted to enhance the song's original emotion, not change it. Using violins and various guitars, I tried to highlight the track's emotional core.

I first tested the track at a festival in France, and the crowd's reaction was amazing. Seeing how the crowd responded, I knew it had potential. I sent it to BLOND:ISH, and she loved it right away and wanted to sign it. I was thrilled to see her playing the track around the world. It's the first time one of my tracks has been supported by such big artists and also so anticipated."
