Princess Nokia - Versace Hottie

A historic moment today on Capitol Hill ... as the Senate voted to confirm Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court.

She will be the first Black woman to ever serve on the high court ... and the court's fourth active female justice.

But there were tense moments along that path to confirmation ... as many Senate Republicans ... including Ted Cruz ... accused Jackson of being an activist judge.

Vanessa Gilmore is a woman of color and a former federal Judge. 

She was nominated by President Clinton in 1994. And at that time, she was the youngest sitting federal judge in the United States. 

Gilmore spoke with WTOP's Dimitri Sotis on Skype ... and was asked for her reaction to those claims that Jackson is an activist judge.
