This is a recording of my last practice session before Blossom, with the tracks I seriously considered playing.  My actual set at Blossom was very similar to what is recorded here with some differences as I adjusted to the environment slightly.  Also this mix is an extra 40minutes longer (why not).
This mix starts quite deep and slowly builds up, there are some deep and dubby sounds in here which I thought would work really well for a 9 a.m. set.  It does get a little more tougher later.

Quick note: Blossom festival was wicked fun! if you missed it, then get down to it next year!

Despite the biblical storms that lashed the city that day, a sell out crowd of 400 joined forces with our co-promoters The Cruz Coalition to create a spectacular journey of light & sound.

So here is the recording of my Rainbow Serpent set for 2019. Words cannot really describe the feeling of being back up there on that stage with so many old & new faces smiling back up at me! I'd like to thank every single one of you legends for being there on that dance floor supporting me & pushing me back to my 1st true love...  music.

RAINBOW SERPENT 2019 - SUNDAY NIGHT SUNSET STAGE

This is a tribute to one of my favourite Prodigy tunes, with those classic rave chords that first made me fall in love with the band when I was just a kid.
I sampled an interview with the late Keith Flint, which sadly fits these times too well where our way of life has indeed been stolen away from us.

Abel has been synonymous with the electronic music scene from day one. The Sydney-born DJ of Spanish origin first came to our attention in the 90’s. Toro has played alongside The Chemical Brothers and Primal Scream. As a music producer/remixer, his credits include Sophie Monk (Sydney), Olli Wisdom (Space Tribe), Funk D’Void (UK) and Paul Mac (Sydney).

Abel is renowned for his unique style of music and passion at what he does. His ability to play a diverse range of music sees him DJ at festivals and clubs around the country and overseas. 

Most recently Abel has performed a string of gigs in Sydney, Byron Bay, Gold Coast and Brisbane. Toro has also been busy in the studio writing and releasing new material on European labels ‘Trippy Code Records’ and ‘Furrier Records’. With more new music set to be released in 2023.
