Black Market Empire are a four piece from Birmingham, England and are renowned in their hometown for their storming live shows. 

They have played with The Temper Trap, Bombay Bicycle Club, Viva Brother, The Bluetones, Nine Black Alps, DOGS, The Lines and Steve Cradock.

Comparisons to an eclectic range of influential artists have been made from Buzzcocks to Strokes to 1960's producer Joe Meek's strange sounds and more.

New management Chicks Dig Jerks have put the band on hiatus for a month while concentrating on songwriting and recording but watch this space for exciting shows across the UK.

Single release on limited CD 16 June 2012 (available from shows) and available on itunes from Monday 2nd July.
