Syncretic means a reconciliation or fusion of differing systems of belief, especially when success is partial or the result is heterogeneous. This is exactly what the two friends from South London bring to Syncretic. Both DJ's have different styles when gracing the decks and both coming from two backgrounds of electronic music; but this eclectic fusion delivers something special when these two are behind the decks.

Their productions are no different, as genre holds no boundary for them. All their productions are different in genre and style, as they drive their syncretic eclecticism through the clubs. Their unofficial remix of Jack by Breach has been support by Breach himself, Leftwing and Kody as well as many other top DJs. Their new EP is forthcoming on Recess Recordings.

Syncretic have featured at top clubs such as Ministry of Sound, Pacha, Fire, Lightbox and Cable (R.I.P.) as well as playing at We Are FSTVL two years running. They have played alongside some of the best DJ’s in the business including the likes of Todd Terry, Andrea Olivia, Sidney Charles, Amine Edge and Dance, Hector Couto, Anya Schneider, Ryan Crosson, Jordan Peak, plus many more. Across a long and distinguished career, B.Traits (Brianna Price) has proven herself to be a musical
artist of great versatility and panache. Equally comfortable commanding festival stages as she is
spinning jungle tunes in dark, intimate clubs, B.Traits backs up an enduring love of her craft with a
tireless work ethic and commitment to showcasing fresh, exciting music. From the raves of British
Columbia where she got her start, through a six-year stint at the BBC and onto more recent
endeavours such as booting up her alter-ego Baby T, Price’s passion has never wavered. In that time,
she’s distinguished herself through her exemplary production chops and DJ mixes of tracks which
orbit the groove-rich, percussion-driven poles of the hardcore continuum. Swing by any B.Traits set
and you’ll hear an eclectic mixture of deep, percussive, rolling techno grooves; find yourself at the
Baby T show and you’ll be plunged into the darkside strains of junglism and breakbeat machine-funk.
And for all her dedication to the dance, the more ambient-leaning releases of Price’s own Paciphonic
imprint demonstrate that by no means are her musical interests simply confined to the club.
