Todd Fernandez was born in the cultural quagmire of New Orleans, Louisiana, where he learned to walk on sinking concrete, live below swamp level, and appreciate the stranger things in life. Music seemed to be the most natural and appropriate response to his eclectic-napoleonic surroundings. 

It all began when Todd was a blues loving boy full of gumbo and martinis (and all sorts of fermentation), as he spent his 7 years of college playing alongside his bandmates in the most talented "Shortbus." Now he’s back, and usually with a new single every month.
