'Let's Talk About Peace' was inspired by the apparently incessant need of certain so called "elites" (politicians), to engage in never ending war and destruction. Thankfully there are still very many people who are very much against this line of thinking. I am one of them.
So here is a light hearted piece to hopefully bring some light into the darkness.

  This is a song that began as a drum track that Ken came up initially as a beat for another SoundCloud user, who respectfully declined it. Instead of letting a solid go to waste, Ken set it loose with JJ and Josh, who came up with an arrangement for the music over top of what they felt was a very killer beat. What was originally a jam, turned into a showcase of the entire Eclectic Collective. Josh also did some guitar work in this one, and with Stephen's brilliant harmony, came up with the opening theme that reoccurs about halfway through. His guitar can also be heard briefly right after the opening theme. Along with Stephen's other half of the theme, he is also responsible for the dynamic, climactic leads through most of it. Tez added his incendiary guitar to the final section, when all else was said and done, as a cherry on top. After all the tracks were in the digital can, we were lucky enough to have Stephen produce and mix it for us.

ALBUM

“Tales from the Verse” is a concept album of 18 songs inspired by experiences and impressions within the virtual universe of Star Citizen. Having been closely connected to the game since 2015, the producer developed the idea of capturing the many stories and encounters players share in the “Verse” in musical form.

The album is set thematically in the year 2955. Musically, however, it deliberately avoids futuristic soundscapes. Instead, it draws on contemporary styles of today, which in the fictional future might be perceived as nostalgic. The guiding thought is that even in the vastness of space, people turn to familiar music to remember earlier times—whether in moments of freedom or in phases of solitude.

The chosen styles reflect different traditions of popular music: from singer-songwriter elements and folk/Americana influences to modern ballads and rock-oriented arrangements. Recognizable forms of expression are reinterpreted to tell original stories in the context of Star Citizen.

Production followed a carefully structured, AI-assisted process. All lyrics were written by the producer, inspired by personal in-game experiences and the shared stories of the community. With the support of ChatGPT, concepts and structures were refined, while Suno.ai enabled the musical realization. These are not random outputs but deliberately crafted compositions, shaped through repeated adjustments to achieve the intended style and atmosphere.

Some songs stand alone, while others are linked thematically. “Truckers Life,” “Waiting on the Starroad,” and “Starroad Echoes Duet” together form a narrative of two lovers, separated by duty yet united by longing. The final duet merges these motifs into a shared piece—an experiment that also highlights the current limits of AI technology.

“Tales from the Verse” is both a tribute to the Star Citizen community and an attempt to translate the breadth of the “Verse” into sound. By combining established musical traditions with modern AI tools, the album creates a work that is at once personal, community-driven, and timeless.
