This is a demo of what's currently in the works with an AWESOME musician Aaron Chaparian. I sent him off the vocals and the song structure along with the "vision" per se, and he knocked it out of the fucking park, over the river, through the woods, out of the atmosphere. He doesn't know it yet, but I'm gonna see if we can make a sort of EP together. And if he's down, I already got a name, logo, brand and everything for the project. Let me know if y'all would like me available for this to download because if not then I'll just leave it, but you already know I'm a man of the people so ask and ye shall receive.

A lot went into this song. From recording in my car sweating my ass off into my laptop, from finding a hip hop studio willing to record metal at midnight and almost having a shooting right outside it's doors. To get this song completed was almost a trial. Which ironically actually plays into the kind of "life trial" we go through whenever we face our demons. "The Baron" is about overcoming that addiction you have. whether it be drugs, alcohol, food, sex, whatever it is, it's a confession. The graphic is an allegory to the message of the song. On the King's head, the crown reads "my truth is to lie" and the bottle reads "medicine". We think self medicating is a way of healing and the harsh truth is that it isn't. Plain and simple. So come to terms with yourself, sing along to this track, and face your shortcomings as this song is meant for you to belt out to and sing your pain out to the universe so you can heal. #SOS

I've been taking music classes so it's caused me to heavily expand my horizons. I was working on an assignment and wanted to find a good electric piano. While I don't think my DAW (Mixcraft 8) has the best sounding one, it does have a useable one. So just while diddling around I fell upon a pretty somber chord progression and looped it. My mind, for whatever reason, immediately associated it with lofi so I threw some rain in there, some edited vocals, and a supple sax and boom. Lofi. I also made it for a friend of mine. He was stationed in Japan and sent me a very thoughtful care package, so the best gift to give back in my opinion is something timeless. Music. The song is to his personal tastes, but nevertheless it's still music and it deserves to be shared with the world.
