loved that guitar tone right from the start!!  Vocals, even the  "da-da-da..s" and "ooohs."  So cool...you really grabbed the soul of the music and made it your own...energetic and more assertive than the more subdued and pensive original...you really took this places, boldly....fantastic!! Here's an old Scottish tune that used to be a sailors' song or barcarolle. It's now played as a lullaby or as a Slow March for the pipers. Due to some of the lyrics that are attached to it, the song can illustrate the escape of Bonnie Prince Charlie, the last of the Stewart's pretender, toward the isle of Skye, after the battle of Culloden (1746). As you may know, it is also the main theme of the TV Series “Outlander”.
