What will the future of home ownership look like?

We seem to be playing the waiting game lately with the Bank of Canada as it's showing us signs of confusion on when they are aiming to lower the interest rates.

In this episode we'll discuss the impact of the continuous high rates on the already slowing Canadian economy, the lack of incentive for builders to create housing and how much of a necessity it is for the BOC to take a proactive role regarding the rates rather than looking for signals from our neighbours down south. 
Yes it's likely for home activity to pick up as a result of lower rates for a period of time until we find a balance, yet it will be better than heading towards a recession-like economy.

Ready for another HEATED market WHEN interest rates DROP?

We're in a time of adjustment where many seem to be waiting for the interest rates to drop, governments are both attempting to find solutions to the housing crisis yet at the same time coming up with regulations which can only be barriers to new developments.

Ottawa/Canada Housing - What's to come? Be ahead of the REST...

The first anticipated rate drop was announced by the Bank of Canada yesterday. A drop of 0.25% bringing the overnight to 4.75% and the borrowing rate to 6.95%. We are to expect more rate cuts in the coming months.
