Edge is getting back to its roots with dark sounds, this time with the Swedish trance legend, Johan Ekman. Lately,  he has been delivering tune after tune on big labels such as Mental Asylum and his originality thrilled every underground trance fan. 

The new track by Johan entitled "Never Change" is all about a dark progression and banging beats that will take you into a psychedelic journey and will open you a new path full of possibilities in order to find your final destination.

As always, majestic work by Mr. Ekman. Keep an eye on this man.

Abora favorite Erik Iker, a.k.a. Ikerya Project, is back with a brand-new uplifter: "Family", which is upbeat, clubby, and emotional all at the same time.

The original mix starts off with a driving bassline and subtle acid sounds that quickly set the pace of the track. The melody is then introduced by a soft piano, whose notes sound as if they were suspended in the air.

Then comes a peaceful emotional breakdown with warm pads, a discrete violin, and the piano melody floating over a silky layer of voices that sound like an army of angels singing for us.

Next follows the climax. With its catchy lead and very positive vibe, it makes us want to dance and jump with joy.

A radio edit, which is a shortened version of the original mix, is included with the release.

"Family" is a release that means a lot to Ikerya Project. And we can certainly feel that he has put all his heart and soul into crafting this wonderful song. We're very much looking forward to hearing more from this very promising Serbian artist, and we hope you enjoy this release as much as we do!

Abora Recordings emerged onto the scene in 2004 with its first release, on vinyl, of Icone's massive instrumental trancer, Sorrow. In subsequent years, Abora firmly established its reputation in the trance scene, one uplifting track after another.

Abora's releases cover what may appear to be a wide range of genres—uplifting trance, orchestral uplifting, latin/balearic trance, progressive, chillout, & symphonic/classical/film scores—but what ties many of them together is the distinctive Abora Sound. Uplifting and beautiful. Emotional. Energizing or soothing or anywhere in between.
