Former Bar25 resident, acclaimed DJ and producer and Sender Records boss Benno Blome is back with a brand new EP that features two of his originals and two fine remixes from Okain Haus and Mihai Popoviciu.
Benno Blome is a boundary pusher who always diversifies with each new release and every DJ set. He has put out great EPs like Braitbendnoodles and the opulent after-hour head-movie "Eramina" and here impresses with a deep and infectious house sound. 
Opener Abotha is a nice and steamy cut with soulful pads layered up over soft rubber beats. Little melodic hooks pull you in and vocal murmuring add a steamy sense of human emotion. 

Romanian Mihai Popoviciu has had great success either solo or with the likes of Jay Bliss and has released on labels including Fear Of Flying, Hudd Traxx, Bang Bang and Diynamic. His remix here is slightly more uptempo and slick, with simmering and shimmying chords rolling over the face of the infectious beats. 

Also remixing is Frenchman Okain, who is a Fabric and Watergate regular and who puts out music on BPitch Control, Cadenza and many others. His version of Abotha is more tech, stripped out and freewheeling, with airy hi hats and thin synth lines meandering about to really hypnotise mind, body and soul. 

Benno’s other original is LED, another syrupy, gloopy, perfectly soft and inviting, warm and romantic house groove with gentle synth stabs, smeared pads and lots of late night soul in its bones. Great vocals again act as a nice human hook and it doesn’t take much to imagine the floor going wild for this one. Once again then Benno Blome proves he is a talented producer with many great ideas and more than the skills to pull them off.

An electronic music singer-songwriter? For many, those words do not fit together. For Monolink, they do. The multi-instrumentalist, singer, producer and performer from Berlin mixes the two genres into a hypnotic hybrid. House rhythms and electronic synth sounds meet organic basslines, Monolink's haunting voice and empathetic songwriting.

"Father Ocean" is another great track from his debut album "AMNIOTIC" which was released in April.

After remixes by Patrice Bäumel ("Sirens") and Tale of Us ("Swallow"), Ben Böhmer takes over and delivers a quality remix. Ben is one of dance music’s brightest stars, 25 year old Berlin producer and live act has had a monumental year. Following releases on Anjunadeep and his own Ton Töpferei label, he's been named as one of Billboard Magazine’s `Ones To Watch`.

After a successful festival summer (Burning Man, Lightning in a Bottle, Fusion and many more), Monolink started his tour -  for the first time with three-headed band on the stage - mid November. All dates of that tour are completely sold out already.

Always in demand with their imaginative work for the likes of EIN2, Traum and Mango Alley, Huminal's relationship with Particles and Proton Music has seen the Dutch duo feature with a host of original music. After a debut remixing Nikko.Z in June 2015, the twin-track "Knocking on the Sky" followed before "We Dwell in the Past" arrived with a bang a year later and "Macropsia" came into view in October 2018. Always at the cutting edge of sound design, The Huminal remix is as immaculate as it is elegant with a raft of intelligent production techniques that sees "Route 88" build with trademark momentum across the seven-minute track. A filtered and gated analogue bass pattern rises and falls throughout while a gloriously produced breakdown sequence ripples with a new melodic sequence that gently pulsates. Rhythmic and melodic groove then join forces again in the second half to devastating effect.
