Innerhalb weniger Jahre legte der Kölner BOHO einen beachtlichen Werdegang hin. Vor allem sein enormer, stets hochqualitativer Output hinterließ Spuren in der Technowelt. Senso Sound, Stil vor Talent, Yoshitoshi oder Octopus Recordings sind nur einige der Labels auf denen er jüngst veröffentlichte. Als Kopf seiner eigenen Imprints Jannowitz und JAW Dropping beweist er zudem regelmäßig selbst einen ausgezeichneten, musikalischen Geschmack und bietet dabei nicht nur bekannten Namen, sondern auch zahlreichen talentierten, aufstrebenden Künstlern eine Plattform. Im November letzten Jahres ging mit EDITION JAW sein inzwischen drittes Label an den Start. Anfang diesen Jahres startet er unter dem Namen 8BOY9 zudem ein neues Projekt mit The Reason Y und Tocadisco, bei dem wir uns auf etwas anderen Sound als sonst freuen dürfen, wie er uns verriet. Wir sind schon sehr gespannt!

Out of Sorts bring the heat with an original titled ‘Ullus’ This is aptly named after a notorious powerful surf break in Bali. As its namesake suggests the tune slowly builds to a percussive workout the crashes to the breakdown, and that's where the surge kicks in!. A huge distorted bass stab echoes when the tune drops, and keeps cycling around to remind you that this wave is one to remember! Without a doubt, one of the strongest Out of Sorts cuts to date.

On remix duties, we have Niconé who flips this monster into a sublime roller. Giving a jacking rhythm and space to loose yourself in. The groove pulsates and the sub frequencies are hypnotic, with a subtle relentless acid line that follows to keep you locked.

➢ The last track on the EP is the @Beddermann-Dahlmann's Dub Mix re-interpretation of "Steam The Rope", and is as simple as the title suggests, removing the short vocal from the break down. Whilst this is not a major change it will definitely suit certain situations, more or less depending on the sound that one is looking for.

@RuralSoundsRec presents a four track EP by @Beddermann-Dahlmann, a German duo based out of Berlin. The two of them have played at all of the important clubs throughout the city and released on underground labels such @Klopfgeist, @Ploetzlich-musik-berlin or @Tonkind.
