Our next podcast series guest is the longstanding figure of the Leipzig scene, behind the counter at record shops and DJ-ing since ages, @Sevensol runs esteemed label Kann and Long Vehicle and has released house music across his own imprints as well as on other labels.

He’s a resident at Nachtdigital Festival and plays in countless places in europe and asia in the last 15 years with appearences at Panorama Bar, De School, Bassiani or Waking Life.

The mix was recorded in April @ neue welle club Leipzig.

Stepping up to contribute IA MIX 383, Alex Albrecht (@melquiadesmusic) delivers a live set from the Natural Order festival in the Australian state of Victoria. Based around improvised, unreleased solo works, this is a gorgeous piece of ambient-leaning electronica. The energy of the set pulsates through your speakers, transporting you into a hypnotic, meditative journey. Alongside the podcast, Alex was kind enough to answer some of our questions and shed light on his musical background, the underground scene in Melbourne, and how the natural beauty of Australia continues to inspire his music.

://about blank is a multi-room club by Ostrkeuz S-Bahnhof in Friedrichshain. It's a short walk from Salon Zur Wilde Renate, and like that club, it's a lightly renovated re-purposed building with seemingly endless nooks and crannies. There are two main dance floors inside, one tent outside and in the summer DJs play out in the garden (this is open in the winter too, often with a bonfire going). 

The music policy is open-ended but mostly focused on house and techno, with occasional bass or disco nights. The overall atmosphere is gritty, and the parties often go well into the following afternoon or evening.
