This was the last set of my Spring tour and I couldn’t have asked for a better way to finish off my travels. Last minute, I decided to do a downtempo slow jam set, because as soon as I stepped into the club I felt it was very fitting of the atmosphere.
I’ve been extremely lucky to play in some amazing places, but Kater Blau holds a very special place in my heart. 
The crowd is very receptive – they are there for their love for music, interacting with one another, and having a great time. There are so many smiles, cheers, and a feeling of togetherness amongst everyone in the room. The energy allows for many good ideas to manifest right there and then behind the decks. A lot of my DJing education comes from the days and nights spent there. So for that, I feel very honored that I get invited to play there time and time again.

Female Bouncer - about the struggles at the doors

To play in my musically home Katerblau in front of cameras for Arte Concert and Unitedwestream organized by the Clubcommission in an empty room to save our club culture in times of quarantine was one of the hardest sets for me ever 💔 
To realize slowly what this means finally released all emotions and I cried badly after... 
BUT to see how many of you were watching us live and supporting us, from cats to kids, from North to South and East to West all over the world all together in this very moment 💫❤️🙏 
This left me speechless and it’s still pretty overwhelming to watch your stories and read all those lovely comments and messages! 
Thank you guys! This was amazing! This felt like being part of music history and to share that is so important

For long Philipp Otterbach, DJ, producer and record collector, devote himself with endurance to music. When Düsseldorf’s shrine for outernational grooves Salon des Amateurs opened in 2004, he became one of the first residents. Since 2014 Philipp released music on labels like GROKENBERGER, Tour Messier or Knekelhuis and left marks as a remixer for artists like Brainwaltzera, DJ Normal 4 or Wolf Müller & Niklas Wandt. The Otter joined Warning as a Resident DJ in 2018 and since then actively helps to shape the sound and vibe of the Berlin project.

Frinda di Lanco’s selection ranges from cosmic, disco, italo and synth-pop to wave, new beat and proto-house. In her sets she combines the obscure and the powerful, the ironic and the iconic. She frequently occurs in clubs around her hometown Berlin, debuted at festivals like Primavera Sound and Fusion Festival in 2019 and toured through China and Japan. With her partner Hendrik Stein she is running Avec Plaisir to unveil and reissue forgotten jams, both of them are affiliates of Warning since day 1.

A resident for the Warning crew who's raves at clubs such as ://about blank are renowned for their boundlessness and musical diversity.
Mars presents a wide range of club and non-club music, always with a big love for interesting rhythms and broken beats.

://about blank is a multi-room club by Ostrkeuz S-Bahnhof in Friedrichshain. It's a short walk from Salon Zur Wilde Renate, and like that club, it's a lightly renovated re-purposed building with seemingly endless nooks and crannies. There are two main dance floors inside, one tent outside and in the summer DJs play out in the garden (this is open in the winter too, often with a bonfire going). 

The music policy is open-ended but mostly focused on house and techno, with occasional bass or disco nights. The overall atmosphere is gritty, and the parties often go well into the following afternoon or evening.
