Grey Heron is a Finnish-Italian rock band, formed in 2010 by guitarist Juuso Pellotsalo and bassist Jaakko Pellotsalo. The band was soon joined by vocalist Andrea Brosio and drummer Atte Mäkelä.

Grey Heron's musical style can be described as "alternative rock","post-punk" or simply "rock". Musical influences are Foo Fighters, My Chemical Romance, Muse, Nirvana, Placebo, Nick Cave...

After several home demo sessions, Grey Heron went to Joona Lukala's studio in 2014. In January 2015 the band released their first single "Promises Of Our Kind" in Spotify, Itunes, Deezer, Google Play, Rdio, Xbox Music, MixRadio and in many other websites to be downloaded for free. The band's first music video "Promises Of Our Kind" was released on Youtube also in January 2015, directed by Jaakko Pellotsalo.
