The latest single from their imminent ‘Group Therapy’ album, Above & Beyond’s ‘Thing Called Love’ follows the widespread success of the trio’s recent crossover smash ‘Sun & Moon’ – a track playlisted by BBC Radio 1.  

Again featuring the distinctive vocals of Richard Bedford, ‘Thing Called Love’ is a powerful song-driven anthem that upholds Above & Beyond’s unique ability to marry innovative electronic grooves with stirring, thoughtful lyrics that are the antithesis of throwaway club tracks.   

A huge underground favourite that has already clocked up over 1 million views on YouTube and touched thousands with its words, ‘Thing Called Love’ has even acted as the soundtrack to both marriage proposals and even wedding days of those feeling the force of it’s message the most. Ironically, though, the lyrics were actually intended to tell the story of a relationship that never was – a lost love rather than realised.

In keeping with the stadium-sized sound of ‘Sun & Moon’, Above & Beyond’s Burning Bridges Mix of ‘Thing Called Love’ blends a chunky electro groove with a forward-thinking, euphoric melody drop. Featuring on Above &amp; Beyond's recent "Anjunabeats Volume 9", Jaytech's "Overdrive" is the latest effort from the prolific Australian and takes a more hypnotic route than normally associated with his sound. 

A glistening, groove-laden progressive builder that layers waves of melodic textures, "Overdrive" eventually arrives at a dramatic breakdown climax - teasing out the anticipation before a laser-lit drop. Already a firm favourite in the earlier half of Above &amp; Beyond's DJ sets, "Overdrive" is another sign of Jaytech's current creativity. 

Russian star PROFF adds one of his instantly recognisable, hip-wiggling 80s-indebted basslines to his bright, bubbly remix. Whilst retaining the original's melodic spirit, PROFF's remix captures a totally contrasting vibe - full of upbeat melodies and energetic groove. 

Completing a smart three-track EP, upcoming producer Giran takes Jaytech's recent piano house anthem "New Vibe" and gives it a classic progressive twist.

This year, OceanLab, the project featuring Above & Beyond and singer/songwriter Justine Suissa spent several weeks holed up in a villa there finishing their debut album, ‘Sirens Of The Sea’.

Seeped in Balearic brilliance, ‘Sirens Of The Sea’ is a mix of blissed out epics and dancefloor cuts. Having previously enjoyed releases on Nick Warren's Hope and Morrison Recordings, the highly regarded French producer Seb Dhajje steps up for his debut Anjunadeep release with the deep tranced-out techno of "Leeknath" and the progressive gem "Calista Nantes".

Tripped-out, detailed and hypnotic, "Leeknath" is a beautiful eight-minute epic that blends deep techno grooves with subtle, melodic texture. Full of intricate soundscapes and subtle shifts, "Leeknath" is a track that demands and rewards repeat listens.

A more obviously melodic but equally deep affair, "Calista Nantes" harks back to the glory days of progressive trance albeit channelled through Dhajje's classy, modern production sound.

A journey through lush electronic grooves, sunny progressive vibes and classy peak-time anthems, Jaytech's second album "Multiverse" is the sound of an artist broadening his scope and moving on to the mainstage. The follow-up to 2008's progressive classic, and the first album to be released on Anjunadeep "Everything Is OK" ("a crossover gem ****" DJ Mag), "Multiverse" takes his sound into the main room; retaining all the melodic flair and refined production that his prolific career has been built on.

After picking up mainstream radio support from Radio 1, ‘On A Good Day (Metropolis)’ is now being released alongside a drum &amp; bass rework from scene stalwarts J Majik and Wickaman (known for their uplifting, club-smashing remix of Deadmau5’s chart hit ‘I Remember’), which has already been hammered by Andy C, Chrissy Chris (1 Xtra), Radio 1’s Grooverider, Hype, Judge Jules and Adam F. A previously unreleased acoustic version will feature as iTunes exclusive track.

Tapping into the vocal’s narrative of triumph over adversity, the official music video centres on the story of Detroit’s Georgia Street Community Collective, and their drive to regenerate the derelict buildings and industrial graveyards of Detroit and transform them into urban farms and community gardens.
