Above & Beyond release their new instrumental club record ‘Projection’, the lead single off the 16th edition of the famed Anjunabeats 'Volume' series.

The final unreleased ID from the trio's headlining set at last year's Group Therapy 450 event in London, 'Projection' has been tweaked and tightened on the road over the last few months.

"For this record the intention was to fuse early 2000s Anjunabeats uplifting trance vibes with a chunky electro house groove," says Jono Grant from Above & Beyond. "The contrast of the heavier groove with the uplifting breakdown is working well in our recent sets".

Featuring 33 tracks over two discs, Anjunabeats Volume 16 includes exclusive music from 40+ artists, both fresh and familiar to Anjunabeats fans. Sketched on the road and in Jono, Tony and Paavo's London studio over the past year, this new mixed compilation showcases the direction of Anjunabeats over the next 18 months.

ilan Bluestone is back with ‘Paid For Love’ featuring Gid Sedgwick.

Our story begins in 2012 when Ilan was introduced to Anjunabeats by Maor Levi. We haven’t looked back since. From his early works like ‘Cape Town’ and ‘Big Ben’, to his 2018 album ‘Scars’, to his recent EP release under new alias Elysian, Ilan always keeps one foot firmly ahead of the pack. 

From Dreamstate to Tomorrowland, A State Of Trance to Group Therapy at Madison Square Garden and beyond, Ilan is a mainstage star who is committed to the craft of songwriting. Above & Beyond rarely play a show that doesn’t feature one (or more) of Ilan’s songs. 

2020 has been a difficult, yet productive year for Ilan. He released 'Black & Blue' with Andrew Bayer, curated a 20 Years Of Anjunabeats mix, launched new project, Elysian, with fellow globetrotters Maor Levi and Emma Hewitt and his 138 Stoneblue alias with debut release ‘Hypnotized’ on Monstercat. 

‘Paid For Love’ is classic Bluestone. Vibrant and anthemic, Ilan is joined once again by singer and songwriter Gid Sedgwick, who worked with Ilan and Maor Levi on 2019’s ‘Can You’. ‘Paid For Love’ was handpicked by Above & Beyond for their Group Therapy 400 livestream in September.

Says Ilan, “ ‘Paid For Love' is the first track I’ve written where I’ve had a hand in writing the lyrics. The song is about a personal experience I had in a relationship, and I feel like these lyrics speak to people who may have gone through similar experiences. I’ve felt such a strong connection with fans at my shows when they’ve been singing the words back to me. I wanted a vocal in the style of Depeche Mode, and Gid delivered!"
